the Rector’s Building . <strong>Students</strong> can<br />

make use of catering services in<br />

the students´canteen located on the<br />

ground floor of the same building . If<br />

they are interested in sports activities,<br />

they can use a gym located in<br />

the same building . The shopping<br />

centre Albert is located in the vicinity<br />

of these university premises .<br />

The residential hall provides a lot<br />

of services <strong>for</strong> students . <strong>Students</strong><br />

are only expected to bring their<br />

own towels, glasses, mugs, plates,<br />

pot, pan, cutlery, etc . They are also<br />

recommended to have their own<br />

electric kettle . These things are quite<br />

cheap and students can buy them in<br />

the Czech Republic .<br />

The services offered by the residential<br />

hall also include: provision of<br />

bed linen (a pillow and a blanket),<br />

curtains, lamps and bedspreads . It is<br />

possible to ask <strong>for</strong> one more blanket .<br />

These services are free of charge .<br />

<strong>Students</strong>´ halls also enable students<br />

to make use of a washing machine, a<br />

drying chamber, a piano room, a TV<br />

room, an electric iron and a vacuum<br />

cleaner . These are also free of charge<br />

services . The rooms are cleaned by<br />

students themselves .<br />

Accommodation <strong>for</strong> <strong>Students</strong>‘ Guests<br />

and Visitors<br />

There is a possibility to accommodate<br />

students´ guests in the university<br />

residential halls . They are<br />

usually accommodated in the single<br />

room, which is more expensive .<br />

They can also stay in the student’s<br />

room . In that case the student needs<br />

consent of his/her roommates . They<br />

have to put their signatures on a<br />

special <strong>for</strong>m which is available in<br />

the Accommodation Office or in the<br />

storeroom . The signed <strong>for</strong>m is submitted<br />

to the accommodation officer
