Yorkshire Gold: A high quality blend of teas from Africa, Assam and Ceylon. A bold, brisk, full-bodied tea with a<br />
smooth and even flavor. Goes well with milk.<br />
<strong>Tea</strong> <strong>Room</strong> Blend: Our tea room favorite! A fabulous rich, full bodied tea. A blend of Assam and East Afi-ican<br />
teas. Wonderful with milk.<br />
English Breakfast: A bright, medium-bodied tea. Enjoy with a drop of milk.<br />
Single Estate Ceylon: A delicate flavor, this is the perfect afternoon tea.<br />
Afternoon Darjeeling: From the foothills of the Himalayas, this tea is often referred to as the "Champagne of<br />
<strong>Tea</strong>s".<br />
Lapsang Souchong: The leaves of this tea are dried over pine wood fires, creating its very distinctive smoky, full<br />
flavor.<br />
Black Flavored <strong>Tea</strong>s<br />
Earl Grey: One of the finest flavored teas, its unique flavor comes from the natural oil of Bergamot. Best served<br />
black or with a slice of lemon.<br />
China Rose Petal: The rose petals in this black tea add a delicate floral flavor. Best served on its own, or<br />
sweetened with sugar or honey.<br />
Black Vanilla with Lavender: Black Vanilla tea and organic lavender create this smooth and relaxing blend.<br />
Black Currant: A light black tea delicately flavored with currants.<br />
Apricot: Ceylon tea and pieces of dried apricot blend create this sweet and tasty tea. A tea room favorite!<br />
Passion Fruit: Dried passion fruit gives this tea its tropical flavor. Best served without milk.<br />
Mango: Ceylon tea and pieces of ripe mango merge to create this fruity treat.<br />
Spiced Citrus: A black tea blended with citrus peels, cinnamon, and cloves. A light spicy flavor. One of the few<br />
citrus teas that goes well with milk.<br />
Chestnut: Slivers of Chestnut give this black tea its rich and nutty aroma. Great with a splash of milk.<br />
Black Vanilla: Vanilla oil and pieces of vanilla pod give this mellow tea its light, sweet taste.<br />

Decaf Mango: A blend of black tea from Ceylon blended with bits of mango.<br />

Dragonwell: From the Chmese village of Dragon Well, this traditional green tea is smooth and nutty.<br />
Ginseng Green: A light and refreshing tea, with just the right touch of ginseng root.<br />
Pomegranate Green: This green tea from China has a delightfully sweet and tart pomegranate flavor.<br />
Genmai Cha: Toasted rice and popcorn are blended together with green tea leaves to create this exotic Japanese<br />
delight.<br />
Decaf Green with Mandarins: Bits of dried mandarin oranges are blended with a delicate green tea to create<br />
this delicious decaf option.<br />
Tisanes (Herbal/Caffeine Free)<br />
Vanilla Rooibos: This Organic South African "Red Bush" is our most popular herbal option. Has the body of a<br />
black tea, without the caffeine! Lovely with milk.<br />
Forest Berries and Rose Hips: Bits of raspberry, strawberry, hibiscus, blackberry, apple, and rose hips create<br />
this sweet and tangy tisane.<br />
Blood Orange: An infusion of natural fruits, including orange peels, hibiscus flowers, apples, and rose hips.<br />
Peppermint: Pure peppermint leaves are used to create this aromatic and refreshing tisane.<br />
Chamomile: Fine Egyptian Chamomile flowers are used in this smooth and calming infusion.<br />
About Us<br />
<strong>Lovejoy's</strong> first opened at the comer of Church and 24* Streets in the early 1990's, moving to its current location<br />
in 2000. Originally an antique shop that served a good cup of tea, the customers soon became more interested<br />
in the tea and scones than in the antiques, and so the tea room was bom. The name, <strong>Lovejoy's</strong> was inspired by<br />
Jonathan Gash's novels about an antique dealer named Lovejoy. These novels were later used to create the<br />
"Lovejoy" BBC television series from the 1970s, which still occasionally airs on PBS.<br />
Be sure to visit our shop, <strong>Lovejoy's</strong> Attic located directly across the street from the tea room. In addition to<br />
selling our loose teas and tea accoutrements, we carry a great selection of vintage tea cups, aprons, hats,<br />
and assorted bric-a-brac.<br />
All of us at <strong>Lovejoy's</strong> invite you to sit back and enjoy the ritual of taking tea in a most unique and unpretentious<br />
setting. We believe our tea room reflects the diversity of <strong>San</strong> <strong>Francisco</strong>, blending together the traditions of tea<br />
service with an eclectic, quirky and playful spirit. ^<br />
