1. International conference “Workshop: “Water for Life – Education for Water”
Partners of project “Leonardo da Vinci – Water for life – Education for Water” actively
participate at the international conference, which was held in one session with following
topics:
Dissemination Formal and informal education to solve environment issues
Educational methods about the water to improve environmental education at schools
The following topics had been presented:
1. River Lamone Valley: environmental and preservation culture – presentations by
Virginia Ravaioli, Oscar Zani and Gabriele Cassani,
2. Play with water – presentation by Nils Ekelund,
3. Water - Didactical access to an Element – presentation by Julia Holzner.
Common methodical materials and school supplies for the environmental education.
At the end of the conference we made final open discussion and conclusion.

2. Brief review of project activities and tasks agreed at the 4 th partners’ meeting to be
done during the 4 th project phase and be presented at the final meeting in Spain
Fourth Transnational Partners’ Meeting:
exchange, presentation and analysis the plans and maps of educational water trails and their
learning points established in each partners’ country
development of common methodology for equipping educational water trails with educational
boards/signs as well as textbooks and workbooks
discuss and prepare a draft of educational board/sign for learning along water trails (experience
of leading partner)
discuss and prepare a draft of workbook/textbook about learning along water trails (experience
of leading partner)
developing the project logo and website
preparing the following project phase
Phase 4: “Equipping educational water trails with educational boards/signs as well as
textbooks and workbooks”
equipping educational water trails with educational boards/signs
preparing workbooks/textbooks for VET along water trail established during the project
activities
Fifth Transnational Meeting:

3. Partners presentations
Each partner presented the educational boards/signs and a draft of workbooks/textbooks.
We agreed about the dissemination and for implementation the project results and
recommendations.

4. Study visits
Study Visit and Educational tour, guided by Trames staff, to the:
- Learning/educational points in Faenza
- Natural River Lamone Valley”
- Palazzo di San Giacomo in Russi (under Municipality authorization)
- Piallasse – Lamone River in Marina Romea (Ravenna)
- Lighthouse of Marina di Ravenna/cultural learning point (under Navy authorization)
- Oasi of Punte Alberete – Delta Po River and Lamone River in Province of Ravenna
- Historical centre of Ravenna (UNESCO Monuments)
5. Conclusions
We agreed about equipping educational water trails with educational boards/signs as well as
textbooks and workbooks.
