The RAF for exteriors is an over-raised type of pavement on which special parts, are arranged
on plastic plots of adjustable height, so that a hollow space is determined between the support and the floor tiles. The elements
that make up this system are as follows:
outdoor tiles to RafS for exteriors
ceramic pieces.
The ceramic tiles consist of two slabs stuck with hot melt reactive to moisture.
Made with a thickness sufficient to withstand the breaking load on over-raised demand these pavements.
Thus, its main technical features are as follows:
• Format: variable.
• Thickness: between 20 mm and 30 mm approx.
• Absorption of water. 3 kN.
• Resistance to chemical attack: UA
These slabs of outside STE are manufactured with necessary thickness to withstand the breaking load indicated above, which does
not mean that to heavy shock or falls of heavy objects cannot produce the breaking of the same.
plots with adjustable height.
These plots, made of plastic weatherproof, are the support on which rests the ceramic piece determine the height of the system
and width of the joint between slabs. This element consists of the following parts:
• Large diameter base that distributes the weight on the support system.
• Height-adjustable piston rod that allows adapting height of the plot to the needs of the pavement over-raised.
• Head up to 14 cm wide on which to lay the ceramic pieces.
• It has 4 dividers that determine joints of placement of a width of 4 mm.
• In encounters with faces, the dividers are cut, allowing the tiles to place without difficulty.
The total height of the plot can be adjusted due to the existence of parts for different demands adjustable heights.
plots chemical properties
Resistant to aqueous solutions containing inorganic salts, acids and alkalis.
Resistant to most organic solvents, like alcohol, esters and ketones.
Resistant to commercial detergents and bleaches.
Resistant to microorganisms, since they are not a culture medium.
Not resistant to oxidizing substances like nitric or sulphuric acid, or halogenated hydrocarbon solvents like petrol.
plots physical properties
Compression resistance of over 1000 kg per plot.
Thermal stability of -25ºC to 110ºC.
Resistant to ageing, weather conditions and rotting.
High dimensional stability thanks to the panels’ high mineral content.
