1.3 National Approvals<br />

• The ZX1Se, ZX2Se and ZX5Se range of panels has many features,<br />

which if used inappropriately, may contravene the requirements of<br />

EN54. Where such a possibility may arise, a suitable warning is given<br />

with brief details of the EN54 requirement and the relevant section it<br />

pertains to. A typical EN54 non-compliance warning is illustrated.<br />

• The ZX10Se fire control panel, which comprises two networked ZX5Se<br />

panels within a single enclosure, has a maximum limit of 1024 sensors<br />

/call points.<br />

• This equipment must be installed in accordance with these instructions and the appropriate<br />

national, regional and local fire systems installation regulations specific to the country and<br />

location of the installation. Consult with the appropriate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for<br />

confirmation of the requirements.<br />

All equipment is to be installed in accordance with the appropriate standards for the<br />

country and area of installation.<br />

• This equipment must be installed in accordance with these instructions and the appropriate<br />

national, regional and local wiring regulations. In the UK the wiring must conform to the<br />

requirements of the latest edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.<br />

• This <strong>Fire</strong> Control Panel complies with the requirements of EN54-2/4 1997. In addition<br />

to the basic requirements of EN54, the panel conforms to the following optional<br />

functions.<br />

• The power supplies for the ZX1Se, ZX2Se, ZX5Se and ZX10Se range of panels<br />

complies with the following clauses of EN54-4.<br />
