3.5 Installing Additional Equipment<br />
3.5.1 General Introduction<br />
Always ensure that the mains and battery power supplies have been isolated before<br />
plugging or unplugging any of the internal circuit boards.<br />
Follow the specific instructions supplied with each item of additional equipment.<br />
At least one loop driver board MUST be installed for the unit to operate as a <strong>Fire</strong> Alarm<br />
Control Panel.<br />
• The following diagrams show the locations for installing additional equipment onto the base card.<br />
