that there should be no negativity of your own attached to it. The mirrored wall is a sphere that
surrounds you and your home—and, once set in place, will reflect only what is sent to you back
to the originator. This is in line with the “harm none” lifestyle most of us lead.
1. Select a mirror, preferably small and round, with flat edges.
2. Wash it in mugwort (an herb that clears any pre-existing energy). Mix the mugwort with
water, strain, and use the water to bathe the mirror.
3. Charge the mirror under the full moon. Place it outside at dark and take it in before dawn.
This creates a “battery” to hold the mirrored sphere around your home so that you are not
the energy source. Recharge as often as you are called to do so. The mirror will call you
when it needs more “juice.” There is no specific time measurement as it depends on how
much “reflecting” the mirror is doing. You cannot over-charge it.
4. Place the mirror flat and facing the ceiling in an area where it will not be disturbed.
5. Visualize a mirrored sphere around you—above, below, and all around. Inhale universal
energy as you breathe, and use that energy to expand your sphere when you exhale. Keep
expanding it until it surrounds your home or the area you wish to protect. You may also
simply keep the sphere around you. Know that any energy sent your way that does not serve
you will be returned to the person who sent it your way to begin with.
6. Speak the following charge:
No more, no less, do I return
Venom, anger, words that burn.
Nothing enters mirrored wall.
No more, no less, return it all.
By law of three, so mote it be!
Warding, Blessing, or Protection Ritual
By Katlyn Breene
Purpose: To protect, charge, or bless anything you hold dear,
whether that be a person or an object.
Needed: A hand-held mirror, acrylic paint, a candle, and a dimly lit room.
1. Write down your exact intent before you begin.
2. Create sacred space and cast a Circle.
3. Call the gods whom you wish to witness the work and lend their aid to the ritual (your own
words, straight from the heart, are probably the best way of doing so).
4. Paint the pentagram (or magick symbol) upon the mirror’s face.
5. Light the candle and hold the mirror before it so that the light reflects on the glass. Direct
the light onto the person or object that you wish to be protected or blessed and see how
the shadow of the pentagram is emblazoned on it.
6. State that the person, place, or thing is now blessed or protected. Not that you wish it to
be protected, but that it is protected. In your mind, it should already be done. Again, your
own words here are probably best.
7. Thank the gods for being there and helping with the working and release the Circle.
(NOTE: This can also be done outdoors on a sunny day, reflecting the light of the Sun
onto what- or whomever you wish to protect.)
One Heart Container Spell
By Ellen Evert Hopman
This is a ceremony that I learned from a Hopi elder that he asked be shared with all people.
The heart is the balance point of the body and the central star, and feelings of oneness and
love for all creation find their origin there. As a way of affirming and ritualizing this concept, buy
