The number behind each person refers to the barrack where he has his permanent residency, and we want to
let you know to feel free to pass by any of those barracks if you want to have a chat with someone about your
ideas or to offer help. Alternatively, you can send an email to one of us (our email addresses are mentioned
above as well) or to all of us at droeffeest@droevendaal.nl.
Barracks wanted
During the night, we need lot’s of things
going on, so we need also YOUR barrack
to host festivities! Looking at past years
for inspiration can give you nice ideas
like having a chill-out with campfire in
the garden, a psychedelic Goa-trance
party in the house or some another kind
of party. Or, what we definitely
encourage, be revolutionary and come
with a completely new idea! We think
that the more there is to do during the
night, the more memorable the party will
be and not the more fractured it will be,
because more people will stay to party
for a long time when everybody can find
something that suits their taste. Inform

Volunteers wanted!
As always, we need all the hands we can get, especially on the day itself and the weeks before, but already now
we can use lots of help as well. We, the committee, can not do everything ourselves and we could definitely
need some fresh energy! Also for next year it would be good if more people will get some experience with
organizing a Droeffeest. During the summer holidays there is not much happening so you don’t have to spend
all the summer here if you want to get involved.
Above two vacancies are listed. One is for Decoration, in which many people can participate. Right now, we are
going to do mostly brainstorming and we start to work out some ideas. In the month preceding the festival
most work will have to be done, particularly making decorations, building up the party beforehand and helping
out on the day itself with lots of things, amongst others to help with tapping beers and to cook a healthy and
tasty meal for everybody. So please offer your help at droeffeest@droevendaal.nl to make the Droeffeest
possible again!
Bands wanted!
Do you know a good band that would like to play for an apple and an egg (a crate of beer and some expenses
being covered)? Let us know! Also other acts that would perhaps not fit on the main stage like theatre or
workshops are very much welcome! Again email to droeffeest@droevendaal.nl.
Ideas wanted!
And furthermore general ideas are welcome, are you good at making cocktails and would like to run a cocktailbar?
Or make snacks for the hungry party-goers during the night? A little fundraising perhaps? Or to do a
workshop or something else in the afternoon…? please let us know! (at the abovementioned email adress…)
