Afdichtingsmaterialen Mechanical seals Alle produktberoerde afdichtingen zijn in diverse materialen verkrijgbaar. Type dichting Toepassing Carbon/siliconen carbide voor niet schurende media Siliconen carbide/ voor schurende media, Siliconen carbide die kristallen en droge substanties bevatten, niet voor dichtingen met een stoombarriere alleen VPSH voor niet schurende en Carbon/RVS smerende media Alle niet produktberoerde afdichtingen hebben een afdichtingsoppervlak van carbon/siliconen carbide. Elastomeren Elastomeren die in aanraking komen met produkt moeten in overeenstemming zijn met het produkt en de procesbesturing. Hierbij moet rekening gehouden worden met chemische bestendigheid, temperaturen en de gevraagde standaards voor materialen. Afsluitplaat barriere De pomp VPSU kan geleverd worden met een sterielbarriere (A) in de afsluitplaat (zie afb.). Als medium voor de barriere kan stoom of vloeistof gebruikt worden. De druk van het steriele medium mag de 2 bar niet overschreiden. Vloeistofbarriere – De vloeistof in de steriele barriere moet afgestemd worden op de te verpompen vloeistof. – Toevoer van de steriele vloeistof op het laagste punt van de afsluitplaat, afvoer op het hoogste punt om luchtbellen te voorkomen. – Installatie volgens de afbeelding. Stoombarriere – Stoomdruk zo laag mogelijk – Temperatuur constant houden – De stoomaansluiting op de afsluitplaat moet op het hoogste punt zijn, zodat het condensaat op het laagste punt kan drainen. – Installatie volgens de afbeelding. 2008-12 · Lobbenpomp VPSH/VPSU / Rotary Lobe Pump VPSH/VPSU A Afsluitplaat barriere End cover barrier overtollig water waste water End cover barrier The pump VPSU may also be fitteed with an end cover to accommodate a sterile barrier (A) of sterile liquid or steam (see illustration). The pressure of the sterile medium must not exceed 2 bar. Liquid barrier – The liquid in the sterile barrier must be compatible with the pumped liquid. – The inlet of the sterile medium should be connected at the lowest point of the end cover, the outlet at the highest point to vent air bubbles. – Carry out the installation acc. to the illustration. Steam barrier – Steam pressure to be as low as possible – Keep the temperature constant – The inlet of the steam should be connected at the lowest point of the end cover, the outlet at the highest point to drain condensate. – Carry out the installation acc. to the illustration. 15
