RESERVATIONS<br />
The amphitheatre, pavilions <strong>and</strong> sprayground<br />
may be rented for your next birthday party,<br />
family reunion or special event. To make a<br />
reservation, please complete a Special Event<br />
Permit Application <strong>and</strong> submit it to the <strong>Parks</strong><br />
<strong>and</strong> <strong>Recreation</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice along with a $35 permit<br />
fee. The forms are available at the <strong>Parks</strong> Offices<br />
located at 2000 W. Front Street, on the web at<br />
www.<strong>Tyler</strong><strong>Parks</strong><strong>and</strong>Rec.com or we would be<br />
happy to email the form to you upon request.<br />
Pavilions <strong>and</strong> the amphitheatre are available<br />
for an additional $100 rental fee <strong>and</strong> a $150<br />
refundable damage deposit (totaling $285).<br />
Events which are open to the public also<br />
require pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> general liability insurance<br />
listing the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Tyler</strong> as additionally insured.<br />

PARK HOURS<br />
All city parks except Children’s Park, Bergfeld<br />
Park, <strong>and</strong> Hillside Park are open between the<br />
hours <strong>of</strong> 6 a.m. <strong>and</strong> 12 midnight.<br />
Children’s Park is open between the hours <strong>of</strong><br />
6 a.m. <strong>and</strong> 10 p.m. Bergfeld Park is open<br />
between sunrise <strong>and</strong> sunset, with the exception<br />
<strong>of</strong> the lighted tennis court area; tennis may be<br />
played until 10 p.m. Hillside Park is open from<br />
sunrise to sunset. Exceptions may apply when<br />
activities sponsored or sanctioned by the <strong>City</strong><br />
<strong>Parks</strong> Department are in progress <strong>and</strong> for thirty<br />
minutes after the conclusion <strong>of</strong> such activities.<br />
It is unlawful to enter a park or remain in a park during<br />
hours when a park is closed.<br />
