Echinamide is unique in that it not only has
standardized levels of active compounds, they are in
ratios that have been shown to produce this synergistic

The German Research Connection
In the early part of the 1900s there was considerable
research on echinacea in the United States. However
the growth of the pharmaceutical industry, coupled
with a long-standing bias against herbal medicine by
American physicians, led to discontinuation
of this research in
North America. Large American

their research on isolated and
chemically modified compounds that
