1. Fabrics and fills:
We increasingly opt for high performance down, since the optimal warmth-to-weight ratio is perfect for the ambitious
winter sports enthusiast. The high down content and fill power ensures good insulation. Where the insulation perfor -
mance might become compromised by moisture ingress, we use less sensitive synthetic fibre fills. All of the
shell fabrics are extremely light, almost totally windproof and water resistant.
2. Functionality:
To ensure best possible freedom of movement, some of the products are equipped with stretch inserts. Snugfitting
cold-block cuffs with thumb holes help shut out the cold. The more ambitious the trip, the more important it is
for the garment to have a super-compact pack size.
3. Detailing:
Some jackets feature a “system zip” to enable precision docking with a compatible shell jacket. The hem of the
jacket fits snugly and provides a weatherproof seal. The headphone cable duct promotes tidy stowage of your
portable multimedia player.
