Unit 8 – Caring for children

This unit looks at the range of settings and providers that care for children across the
private, voluntary and independent sectors. This will include thinking about the diverse
needs of children and consider appropriate activities that promote and support
independence and self-care. You will learn how to work with other professionals in a way
that values and respects colleagues whilst caring for children.

The learner will understand: The learner can:
