Jana L. Raver is Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>and</strong> E. Marie Shantz Research Fellow<br />

in Organizational Behaviour at Queen’s School <strong>of</strong> Business. She completed<br />

her Ph.D. at the University <strong>of</strong> Maryl<strong>and</strong>. Her work has been published in<br />

Academy <strong>of</strong> Management Journal, <strong>The</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Management Review, Journal<br />

<strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Psychology</strong>, <strong>and</strong> several other journals <strong>and</strong> book chapters.<br />

Honors for her research include best paper <strong>and</strong> best publication awards<br />

from the Academy <strong>of</strong> Management <strong>and</strong> the International Association <strong>of</strong><br />

Conflict Management. Her research focuses on interpersonal relations <strong>and</strong><br />

group processes, with an emphasis upon examining helpful (i.e., citizenship<br />

behaviors) versus counterproductive (e.g., aggression, harassment,<br />

relationship <strong>conflict</strong>s) actions. Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Raver’s work also includes investigations<br />

<strong>of</strong> work group diversity, cross-cultural variation, <strong>and</strong> multilevel<br />

theory. She is currently on the editorial board <strong>of</strong> Negotiation <strong>and</strong> Conflict<br />

Management Research.<br />

Stefan Schulz-Hardt is Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Industrial, Economic, <strong>and</strong> Social<br />

<strong>Psychology</strong> at Georg-August-University Goettingen. He has taught at the<br />

Universities <strong>of</strong> Kiel <strong>and</strong> Munich <strong>and</strong> was Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Social <strong>and</strong> Financial<br />

<strong>Psychology</strong> at Dresden University <strong>of</strong> Technology. His main research<br />

interests are group decision making <strong>and</strong> group performance, social information<br />

processing, price perception, <strong>and</strong> financial loss escalations. He has<br />

published in <strong>The</strong> Academy <strong>of</strong> Management Review, Journal <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Psychology</strong>,<br />

Journal <strong>of</strong> Personality <strong>and</strong> Social <strong>Psychology</strong>, Organizational Behavior <strong>and</strong><br />

Human Decision Processes, <strong>and</strong> several other journals, <strong>and</strong> he has written<br />

numerous book chapters.<br />

Kristin Smith-Crowe is Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Organizational Behavior<br />

in the David Eccles School <strong>of</strong> Business <strong>of</strong> the University <strong>of</strong> Utah. Her<br />

research focuses on ethics in organizations (especially antecedents <strong>of</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

reactions to wrongdoing) as well as worker safety training <strong>and</strong> research<br />

methods. She has published in American Journal <strong>of</strong> Public Health, Journal <strong>of</strong><br />

Applied <strong>Psychology</strong>, <strong>and</strong> Personnel <strong>Psychology</strong>.<br />

Paul E. Spector is a distinguished university pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> industrial/organizational<br />

(I/O) psychology <strong>and</strong> the I/O doctoral program director at the<br />

University <strong>of</strong> South Florida. His more than 100 articles have appeared in<br />

many journals, including Academy <strong>of</strong> Management Journal, Journal <strong>of</strong> Applied<br />

<strong>Psychology</strong>, Journal <strong>of</strong> Management, Journal <strong>of</strong> Organizational Behavior, Journal<br />
