Catherine E. Amiot is Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> <strong>Psychology</strong> at the Université<br />

du Québec à Montréal. Her research focuses on intergroup dynamics,<br />

social identity change, <strong>and</strong> the motivations underlying social identification.<br />

She has published in Personality <strong>and</strong> Social <strong>Psychology</strong> Bulletin, Journal<br />

<strong>of</strong> Management, British Journal <strong>of</strong> Social <strong>Psychology</strong>, <strong>and</strong> European Journal <strong>of</strong><br />

Social <strong>Psychology</strong>.<br />

Julian Barling is Queen’s Research Chair <strong>and</strong> Associate Dean (Ph.D.,<br />

M.Sc., <strong>and</strong> Research programs) in the Queen’s School <strong>of</strong> Business. Dr.<br />

Barling is the author/editor <strong>of</strong> several books, including most recently the<br />

H<strong>and</strong>book <strong>of</strong> Work Stress (with Kevin Kelloway <strong>and</strong> Mike Frone, 2005) <strong>and</strong><br />

the H<strong>and</strong>book <strong>of</strong> Workplace Violence (with Kevin Kelloway <strong>and</strong> Joe Hurrell,<br />

2006). He is currently editing the H<strong>and</strong>book <strong>of</strong> Organizational Behavior, with<br />

Cary Cooper. Dr. Barling was the editor <strong>of</strong> the American Psychological<br />

Association’s Journal <strong>of</strong> Occupational Health <strong>Psychology</strong> <strong>and</strong> serves on the<br />

editorial boards <strong>of</strong> the Journal <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Psychology</strong>, Leadership <strong>and</strong> Organizational<br />

Development Journal, <strong>and</strong> Stress Medicine. In 2001, Dr. Barling<br />

received the National Post’s Leaders in Business Education Award, <strong>and</strong> in<br />

2002, he was elected a Fellow <strong>of</strong> the Royal Society <strong>of</strong> Canada.<br />

Bianca Beersma is Assistant Pr<strong>of</strong>essor in the Department <strong>of</strong> Work <strong>and</strong><br />

Organizational <strong>Psychology</strong> at the University <strong>of</strong> Amsterdam, the Netherl<strong>and</strong>s.<br />

Her research focuses on the effects <strong>of</strong> social <strong>and</strong> epistemic motivation<br />

on <strong>conflict</strong>, negotiation, <strong>and</strong> team processes <strong>and</strong> performance. She<br />

also studies the effects <strong>of</strong> personality <strong>and</strong> culture on <strong>conflict</strong> management.<br />

Her work has been published in Academy <strong>of</strong> Management Journal,<br />

the Journal <strong>of</strong> Personality <strong>and</strong> Social <strong>Psychology</strong>, Journal <strong>of</strong> Applied <strong>Psychology</strong>,<br />

Organizational Behavior <strong>and</strong> Human Decision Processes, Social Justice Research,<br />

<strong>and</strong> International Journal <strong>of</strong> Conflict Management.<br />

Lehman Benson III is <strong>The</strong> McCoy/Rogers Fellow <strong>of</strong> Management <strong>and</strong><br />

Associate Pr<strong>of</strong>essor at the University <strong>of</strong> Arizona <strong>and</strong> is currently a visiting<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essor at Duke University. His ongoing research examines the effect<br />

<strong>of</strong> stress, time constraints, <strong>and</strong> feedback on judgment <strong>and</strong> decision making.<br />

Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Benson has published numerous articles <strong>and</strong> book chapters in<br />

many journals such as Organizational Behavior <strong>and</strong> Human Decision Pro-<br />
