Yallingup Shearing Shed | See an Australian<br />
sheep dog and shearing demonstration.<br />
Margaret River township | Take some free time<br />
to explore the quaint shops featuring the work of<br />

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse | We visit this 1890s<br />
lighthouse, built from local limestone on the<br />
most south-westerly tip of Australia, where the<br />
Southern and Indian oceans meet.<br />
Mammoth Cave | A guided tour of this<br />
500m-long, 30m-deep gothic cave structure<br />
featuring impressive structures, fossils and the<br />
remains of the extraordinary megafauna (giant<br />
mammals).<br />
Boranup Forest | We drive through this 100 year<br />
old regrowth forest, home to the third tallest tree<br />
in the world, the karri tree.<br />
Tree Top Walk and Ancient Empire Walk |<br />
Get a bird’s eye view 40m above the forest floor<br />
from a lightweight bridge among the tingle trees,<br />
and bask in a grove of 400-year-old tingle trees on<br />
the Ancient Empire Walk.<br />

Gloucester Tree | This towering 61m karri tree<br />
was once used as a fire look-out and has been<br />
climbed by more than 1 million people – will you<br />
take the opportunity to climb it?<br />
Wilderness Cruise | We take a luncheon cruise<br />
with a local guide on the Nornalup Inlet, known<br />
for its rich, diverse marine environment.<br />

Day 1: Perth to Margaret River region<br />
As we travel to the Margaret River, we visit<br />
Yallingup. Following lunch visit chocolate<br />
and cheese factories (time permitting) and<br />
sample wines at Palandri Wines, then stop at<br />
Busselton. (LD) Accommodation: Abbey Beach<br />
Resort, Busselton or similar.<br />
Day 2: Margaret River to Pemberton region<br />
Enjoy free time in Margaret River, tour<br />
Mammoth Cave, through Boranup Forest,<br />
and to Augusta to visit Cape Leeuwin<br />
Lighthouse. Climb the Gloucester Tree. (BLD)<br />
Accommodation: Karri Valley Resort, or similar<br />
Day 3: Pemberton region to Albany<br />
Stroll to Beedelup Falls, then travel to coastal<br />
Walpole. Take a luncheon cruise on the<br />
Nornalup Inlet, visit the Valley of the Giants<br />
Tree Top Walk, travel to the Albany region<br />
to visit The Gap and Natural Bridge. (BLD)<br />
Accommodation: Comfort Inn Albany or similar.<br />
Day 4: Albany to Perth via Wave Rock<br />
We go to Stirling Ranges for sightseeing<br />
at the base of Bluff Knoll, travel through<br />
farmlands to the small town of Hyden. After<br />
lunch at Hyden Wildflower Shop, stroll to<br />
Wave Rock, then head back to Perth. (BL)<br />
