When you're back on the dockside and the long trip is through
There's pubs and there's clubs and there's lassies there too
Where the girls are all pretty and the beer it is free
And there's bottles of rum growing from every tree.
Now I don't want a harp nor a halo, not me
Just give me a breeze on a good rolling sea
I'll play me old squeeze box as we sail along
With the wind in the rigging to sing me a song.
FLOWER OF SCOTLAND
Oh flower of Scotland
When will we see your likes again
That stood and died for
Your wee bit hill and glen.
That stood against them ('gainst who?)
Proud Edward's army
And sent them homewards
To think again.
Those hills are bare now
And autumn leaves lie thick and still
For land that's lost now
But was so dearly held.
Those day's are passed now
And in the past they must remain
For we can still rise now
And be the nation again.
