The algorithms used for motility analysis cannot be compared with the previous version to
explain the differences. With further improvements, the SQA-Ve might be able to analyze motility in
a more reliable way.

In conclusion, with the improved algorithms included in the newer software, the SQA-Ve is
able to analyze equine semen quality in a more acceptable way. However, the need remains for
further improvements before this device can univocally report on thawed equine semen quality.
