D4 VÄRLDARVSLEDEN (Trail)
The new 105 km long World Heritage trail in
Nordingrå. This is an extension of the High
Coast trail and goes out to the coast passing
through several nature reserves.
D4 BARSTA FISKELÄGE (Fishing village)
This fishing village is a mix of traditional
old buildings and a modern holiday resort.

D4 MJÄLTÖN
Mjältön is Sweden's highest island at 236 m
above sea level. There is a large cave, Mjältögrottan.
The island is a popular destination for
boaters.

D3 SKULEBERGETS NATURERESEVE
9 600 years ago Skuleberget was a 9 m high
islet in the sea; the former waterline can
now be seen at 286 m above sea level! Of
botanical interest. Naturum with information
on World Heritage is situated at its foot. The
highest waterline is marked with artwork.
The outlook point at the top can be reached
on foot starting out from Skule naturum or
by taking the chairlift. Kungsgrotten (King's
cave) has served, legend has it, as a robbers'
hideout. Refreshments available at the top.

The largest Via Ferrata installation in northern
Europe with three routes of different

D3 SKULEBERGETS LINBANA
Chairlift up to the highest former sea-level
line in the world, 286 m above sea level.
Refreshments available at the top. The hill's
drop height is 255 m. The chairlift runs both

D3 SKULESKOGENS NATIONALPARK
Highly undulating, creviced landscape with
rubble field, natural forest and stone slabs
showing signs of the land uplift. Don't miss
Slåttdalsskrevan, a majestic ravine in Slåttdalsberget.
There are three ways into the
national park: the North, South and West
entrances. These have been built to make the
park more accessible for disabled persons.
D4 HÖGBONDENS FYRÖ
This nature reserve on Högbonden island
lies between heaven and sea, with the old
lighthouse way out on the rocks high above
the Bay of Bothnia waters.
