The emission of NH3 from treatment of slaughterhouse waste has been calculated
from an average emission factor based on measurements from Danish
plants (daka, 2010). Activity data are obtained from production statistics
(Statistics Denmark, 2010).

The time series is based on the same methodology throughout, using public
statistics and standard emission factors. Therefore, the time series is considered
to be consistent.
