Ulysses Members departed from
Pinehaven on Sunday 9 th of September
2012 for the Centurion Ulysses
Charity Run to Kleine Kammas at
Rustenburg.
Meetingupwiththerestofthe43bikers
taking the road in a very organised
formation with marshals directing and
ensuring our safety at all times. We had
a pit stop at the ELEPHANT Garage
just after Olifantsnek, before arriving at
KLEINE KAMMAS…. A huge buffet
breakfast ranging from scrambled eggs,
pork rashers and traditional “pap”
awaited us…. Starting off the morning
with nice “live” music and coffee……..
A total amount of R34 000 was
collected in aid of the SAMSURAN
CHILDREN FUND (ZEERUST)
leaving many a biker

supplying company Trenic
Industries in Kyalami requires Test
Pilots for their Scala Rider G9 unit,
the tester get the unit for a month
at no cost, to test it and post
comments on their Facebook page,
after the month you can give the
unit back or buy it at 50% discount
which is quite a big saving as the
units are R3400, 00 each.
People can contact them via their
Facebook page “Scala rider –
Cardo” .
This could be a good opportunity
for those going to ET , to use the
units amongst themselves at no
cost to them.

To everyone’s surprise the full
crowd of West Rand received prizes
in the Lucky draw….. from Emil
that made sure there will be no more
“punctures” in future runs with his
puncture kit, Gert had a backpack
from BMW –wonder if the Suzuki
would enjoy that, Joe having a new
“wallet” for the loose “change….
Piet ensuring all tyres to be rightly
“pressured……and finally
Caruschka that with much loud
applause received her
“jewellery”…… a watch – to make
sure all members will be on time for
the future breakfast
runs……………….
