yobbi PARASTACIDAE, "crayfish." As a contemporary<br />

word derived from the Aboriginal, it is used<br />

specifically for Cherax destructor and Engaeus sp., but<br />

is also used loosely for all Australian crayfish and<br />

sometimes for Western Australian crayfishes other than<br />

marron, q.v. [Australia: South Australia; Adelaide,<br />

Aboriginal derivative] Olszewski, 1980:16. See<br />
