ACTIVITY SHEET<br />
HOT AIR BALLOONS<br />
1. Use the pattern <strong>sheet</strong> to make a card template.<br />
2. Cut out 8 pieces of tissue paper to make<br />
your balloon.<br />
4. Make a card collar to strengthen<br />
the neck of the balloon.<br />
IDEAS TO INVESTIGATE<br />
3. Carefully glue the panels together.<br />

5. Point a h<strong>air</strong> dryer towards the neck of the<br />
balloon and blow hot <strong>air</strong> into your tissue<br />
paper balloon. (Don’t push the h<strong>air</strong> dryer<br />
into the neck or you’ll burst the balloon)<br />
