2500 cycles by application of the cycle jump method, which illustrated similar beneficial
reductions in the computational time. This study illustrates that the cycle jump method is a
reliable method for accelerating fatigue crack growth simulations with good accuracy, but to
develop an authentic life prediction method fatigue experiments should be conducted to validate
and modify the developed scheme.
