Experimental and Numerical Study of Swirling Flow in Scavenging Process for 2-Stroke Marine Diesel Engines Acknowledgment Regarding this thesis, the acknowledgment goes to many people who have been directly or indirectly giving their support and help. At first I am very thankful to DTU, MAN Diesel and Turbo and Danish Centre for Maritime Technology (DCMT) for funding the project and giving me the opportunity to work on a very challenging and interesting topic.
