• Degree modification – Change in name of degree<br />
• From: Bachelor of Science in Science, <strong>Tech</strong>nology, and Culture<br />
• To Bachelor of Science in Literature, Media, and Communication (with<br />
concentrations)<br />
• Degree Modification<br />
• In response to the recommendation of the 2010 Board of Regents<br />
Review team and to the evolving research interests of the faculty, the<br />
Literature, Media, and Communication Undergraduate Curriculum<br />
Committee and the faculty of LMC recommend that the B.S. in Science,<br />
<strong>Tech</strong>nology, and Culture (BSSTC) be revised to follow a “threaded”<br />
curriculum.<br />
• The threaded design of the LMC degree is intended to generate 15<br />
distinct concentrations, major who elects to pursue the Media<br />
thread and the Interaction Design thread would complete an LMC<br />
degree with the Media‐Interaction Design concentration.<br />
• Number of hours for the degree remains at 122
