• New Course: ME 4215 Manufacturing Process Analysis<br />
• New Course: ME 3210 Design, Materials, and Manufacture<br />
• Replace BSME requirement of ME 4210 with ME 3210 (pre‐approved<br />
substitution during transition period)<br />
• Establish a fifth Concentration Area, Manufacturing, within the undergraduate<br />
Mechanical Engineering degree program.<br />
• Deactivate ME4210 Manufacturing Processes and Engineering<br />
• Pre‐requisite change for required course, ME 4182 Capstone Design. New pre‐<br />
requisite list (additions in red, deletions with strikethrough):<br />
• ME 2110, ME3210, ME4210*, (ME3180 or ME4315).<br />
• Pre‐requisite change for elective course, ME4189 Structural Vibration.<br />
• Current prerequisites: MATH 1502, MATH 2403, and ME3015<br />
• Proposed prerequisites: ME2202, MATH 2403 or MATH 2413 (Honors Differential Equations),<br />
or MATH 24X3 Differential Equations (Transfer).
