1. Giving 150 Baht/night in case of admitting a hospital such as giving a birth, sick, or
having as accident 9 no more than 7 sequential days and once a year)
2. Paying 50% of medical fees for an emergency case (once a year) and transportation
fees to a hospital (less than 100 Baht/year)
3. Paying funeral fees 2,000 Baht/member (for Buddhist members) with a coffin and a
funeral host for 4 nights (3,000 Baht/member for Islamic members)
4. Providing 5 kg of rice for elder (60 years old or above members)
5. Providing a student load without interest (600 Baht/student/term) for 2
children/family, and a debtor has to pay back within 2 months. In addition, for
underprivileged child, the center will support a stationary/year
6. 2% of the community grocery store’s incomes will be jointed into fund
Workshop and Information dissemination
The recyclable center provides workshop for interesting persons and organizations. The
lecturer (the leader of the project) always explains about the Zero Baht Shop and trains the
interesting people by workshop to make them understand the process of this shop. Figure
C-35 to C-42 shows the activities that are provided for interesting people/organizations.
In general, people who interested in the Zero Baht Shop want to apply the concept and
process of this shop for their projects or making profitable business. This workshop
consists of many activities such as waste sorting workshop, learning integrated farming,
studying processes of the Zero Baht Shop, invention by children and wives group, feeding
fish and pigs, and learning composting and making cleaning solution. Furthermore, there is
the water boxing for entertaining attendances, and the fees for this show are unclean
milk/juice cartons.
