Recyclable group identity
To create a unity of the group, In addition to the policy which all of the members have to
follow to earn trust and acceptance from the public. The TIPMSE supports a center’s post,
a jacket, a member identification card, and license plate for Saleng tricycle for the unity
including tools needed in the profession such as gloves, a surgical mask, a reflector and
weight apparatus. The TIPMSE and the Department of Environment, BMA train and
advise the center management. Fundamental regulations training and knowledge on
hazardous materials for Saleng members are supported by The TIPMSE and the
Department of Environment, BMA.
Recyclable Center
The recyclable center includes waste shop, waste bank, and community grocery store.
There are many processes of waste exchange at the recyclable center such as separation,
weighting, recording, and waste exchange. Figure C-33 shows the processes of waste
exchange.

From Figure C-33, waste pickers (saleng)/people/children must separate their wastes into
each type of wastes before exchanging with products/welfare. Then, a labor weight wastes
and record the weight of those wastes, and he/she will give the weight bill to them. Next,
they must bring that bill to the owner of Zero Baht Shop (community grocery store), and
the owner then calculate total prices of wastes. Finally, they can choose products in the
