This shop does not buy foam, plastic bags, and CD because there are two labors for waste
separation, but plastic bags require more labors and high water and electric supplies. Foam
and CD are less weight and low amounts collected, and people do not collect these wastes
to sell. Labors always separate only color and types of wastes. For example, PET bottles
are separated into two color such as clear color and black color (labors call other color
plastic that they are black color because they will become black products when they are
recycled).
Plastic wastes will be sold to pelletizing factory at Nakhon Pathom province when this
shop collects 800 kg to 1,000 kg of plastic wastes. This shop buys 200-400 kg/day of
plastic wastes or around 3,000-5,000 Baht/day. Table C-1 shows buying and selling prices
and amounts of sold plastic wastes.

This shop spent 300,000 Baht to start this business. The profit of this shop is 300,000
baht/month (estimate from selling all wastes) This shop does not contact with other shops,
while middle dealers sometimes contact or sell wastes from this shops to bigger shops. The
competition of this business in this area is very high because there are many waste shops
like this sub-road (Soi. Thep Khunchon 25) which are three waste shops. Table C-2
