Upcoming Meetings
The WOT Livestock project members will meet
on April 1, 7:00 pm at the Otter Tail Power
Rooms in Fergus Falls.
The Purple Ribbon Auction Committee will meet
on April 7, 6:30 pm at the Otter Tail Power
Rooms in Fergus Falls.
The WOT Annual Horse meeting will be held on
April 8, 7:00 pm at the Otter Tail Power Rooms
in Fergus Falls.
WOT Share the Fun and Performing Arts
If you have the ability to sing, play a musical
instrument, dance, perform in a skit, twirl the
baton (no fire please!) or do a dramatic reading,
why not share it in the Annual Share The Fun/
Performing Arts Show? The show will be held on
April 14 at the Lakes Area Community Center in
Battle Lake. Call the Extension Office to sign up
your acts.
Heart of Lakes Rabbit Show
Do you need to buy a rabbit for the fair? Come
to the WOT County Fair Grounds on April 20
and purchase an animal.
Adopt a Pig; Adopt a Kid program
If you have never shown pigs or dairy goats, but
you are interested in doing so, now is the time
to give it a try. Apply for a free pig or goat
using this application. Take advantage of this
valuable program out of WOT.

To the Otter Tail Rabbit Project Bowl team on
earning First place recognition at the Northern
MN 4-H Project Bowl Invitational in Goodridge.
Team members are Heather Weller, Megan
Badinger, Elizabeth Bergem, Autumn Pederson
and coached by Kristi Weller and Amy Bergen.
To the Wildlife Team who placed fifth place in
their showing. Team members are Brett Leitch,
Ben Meek, Leroy Hauge, Daniel Ukkleberg and
coached by Roxanne Thompson. Thank you to
the coaches and youth for representing Otter
Tail County at the Northern MN 4-H Project
Bowl. Best of luck at the regional competition
on March 9 in Farmington.
Wilkin County
Wilkin County Fair Dates Set
The Wilkin County Fair will be held August 8-11.
The date change is due to a change in
ownership of the carnival forcing the Fair Board
to contract with a different carnival.
4-H Afterschool Cloverbud Clubs
In March, the Cloverbud clubs will be meeting at
the following dates and locations:
Campbell Cloverbuds- March 12, 3:00 pm
in the Campbell School Cafeteria
Rothsay Cloverbuds- March 13, 3:15 pm in
the Rothsay School Cafeteria
St. Mary’s Cloverbuds- March 19, 3:00 pm
in the St. Mary’s School Cafeteria
