New Daylight Savings Time Change!!! We would like to notify all of our clients that in March 2007, U.S. Daylight Saving Time (DST) is changing and will now begin on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November. The U.S. Energy Act of 2005 drove this change, aimed at reducing energy consumption. The new schedule will make U.S. Daylight Saving Time four (4) weeks longer and will have implications for certain technology products. We all know how important it is to take all necessary actions to respond to this matter, and so, we would like all of our clients to know and apply the proper procedure. Make sure the DVR has correct current time before you set daylight savings time to ON. Below are the instructions for setting your DVR to take effect. EDSR 400F/600F/900F/1600F Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then click on Daylight Saving to go to Daylight Saving Setting Menu. Follow the instruction as given below. • Daylight Saving= YES • Start Time= 2 nd Sunday in March • End Time= 1 st Sunday in November Finally hit MENU twice to exit out of the Menu options. EDSR400H Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then Jog-dial clockwise to get to Daylight Saving Setting Menu.
