<strong>New</strong> <strong>Daylight</strong> <strong>Savings</strong> <strong>Time</strong> <strong>Change</strong>!!!<br />
We would like to notify all of our clients that in March 2007, U.S. <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving <strong>Time</strong><br />
(DST) is changing and will now begin on the second Sunday in March and end on the<br />
first Sunday in November. The U.S. Energy Act of 2005 drove this change, aimed at<br />
reducing energy consumption. The new schedule will make U.S. <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving <strong>Time</strong><br />
four (4) weeks longer and will have implications for certain technology products.<br />
We all know how important it is to take all necessary actions to respond to this matter,<br />
and so, we would like all of our clients to know and apply the proper procedure.<br />
Make sure the DVR has correct current time before you set daylight savings time to ON.<br />
Below are the instructions for setting your DVR to take effect.<br />
EDSR 400F/600F/900F/1600F<br />
Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then click on<br />
<strong>Daylight</strong> Saving to go to <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving Setting Menu.<br />
Follow the instruction as given below.<br />
• <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving= YES<br />
• Start <strong>Time</strong>= 2 nd Sunday in March<br />
• End <strong>Time</strong>= 1 st Sunday in November<br />
Finally hit MENU twice to exit out of the Menu options.<br />
EDSR400H<br />
Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then Jog-dial<br />
clockwise to get to <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving Setting Menu.<br />
Follow the instruction as given below.<br />
• <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving= YES<br />
• Start <strong>Time</strong>= 2 nd Sunday in March<br />
• Stop <strong>Time</strong>= 1 st Sunday in November<br />
Finally hit MENU once to exit out of the Menu options.
EDSR100H<br />
Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then Jog-dial<br />
clockwise to get to <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving Setting Menu.<br />
Follow the instruction as given below.<br />
• <strong>Daylight</strong> Saving= YES<br />
• Start On= 2 nd Sunday in March<br />

Press the MENU key on the front panel to enter the MAIN MENU and then Jog-dial<br />
clockwise to get to <strong>Time</strong>/Date Menu and then press the ENTER key.<br />
