All team accreditation cards will allow access to the team seating area, warm up areas,<br />
changing facilities and physiotherapy rooms. Only athletes who are about to compete will<br />
have access to the call room and to the infield.<br />
Separate cards will be issued to <strong>Team</strong> Leaders, for access to the Mixed Zone and TIC.<br />
Tickets/separate cards will also be distributed to the coaches (1 per competing athlete) for<br />
the coaching areas.<br />
7. TECHNICAL INFORMATION<br />
7.1 Technical Information Centre (TIC)<br />
The main function of the centre is to ensure smooth communication between each <strong>Team</strong><br />
Delegation, the LOC and <strong>European</strong> <strong>Athletic</strong>s Technical Delegates and the Competition<br />
Administration, regarding technical matters.<br />
The TIC is located on the main competition arena – Sportgorodok - in the tent on the mini<br />
football pitch next to the Call Room close to the entrance to the infield (see Appendix 4).<br />
The TIC will be open at the following times:<br />
20 May 09:00 – 20:00<br />
21 May 08:00 – 21:00<br />
22 May 08:00 – 20:30<br />
23 May 14:00 – 21:00<br />
The TIC will be linked to all information desks set up for this event and shall be responsible for<br />
the following:<br />
• Receipt of written questions to be answered during the Technical Meeting<br />
• Competition information (start lists, results, qualification to the YOG, etc)<br />
• Liaison points concerning technical matters between <strong>Team</strong> Delegate(s), Technical<br />
Delegate(s), <strong>European</strong> <strong>Athletic</strong>s and LOC<br />
• Urgent notices – collection and delivery of any urgent written notices to the <strong>Team</strong><br />
Delegations from Technical Delegates, <strong>European</strong> <strong>Athletic</strong>s and LOC<br />
• Settlement of technical enquiries from the teams<br />
• Registration and collection of personal implements. (e.g. shot put, etc.)<br />
• Recovery of confiscated items at the call room<br />
• Request of documentation for national records (additional doping control and<br />
Omega photo finish prints)<br />
• Withdrawal of athletes<br />
• Receipt of protests from the teams<br />
All technical information regarding the competition will be distributed to each delegation in<br />
a special pigeon box given to each team. This information will also be displayed on<br />
