4. TRANSPORT<br />
1st<strong>European</strong> Youth<br />

IAAF will pay travel subvention to and from the venue (by air travel to the official airport) for<br />
all athletes and officials within the IAAF Quota (see appendix 5.). No subvention shall be<br />
made in respect of athletes representing the host <strong>European</strong> <strong>Athletic</strong>s Member Federation.<br />
A lump-sum per quota athletes/official for each Member Federation has been fixed<br />
according to the travel distance to Moscow (RUS). The amount will only be paid for athletes<br />
and one official that actually travelled to Moscow.<br />

Please note that <strong>European</strong> <strong>Athletic</strong>s intend to make the transfer of travel subvention to<br />
Member Federations’ bank account only after the event.<br />
4.1 Transport and Accommodation Desk<br />
The LOC information, transportation and accommodation desk will be located in the lobby<br />
of each teams’ hotel.<br />
The Transport and Accommodation Desk will be open according to the arrival/departure<br />
dates of the Delegations between 08:00-22:00 (or according to the shuttle transportation<br />
schedule). The final information will be displayed on the Information board in each hotel.<br />
4.2 Bus Shuttle Service<br />
A regular bus shuttle service will be provided between the team hotels, training venues,<br />
social functions, the technical meeting and the competition venue. Full details of the<br />
schedule will be displayed at the Information desk in each hotel. Transfer times between the<br />
hotels and the competition venue will be between 30-45 minutes depending on the hotel<br />
location and traffic conditions.<br />
The following is a guide to the approximate travel times to all the Venues from the <strong>Team</strong>s’<br />
Hotels (“Salyut” and “Astrus”):<br />
