designed to burn wood so thoroughly that their pollutant 

emissions are reduced to an absolute minimum.

allowed to burn overnight in a smokeless area anywhere in 

the United Kingdom.

Because of our exceptional R&D team we have designed 

our stoves to be operated from the comfort of your 

armchair. No other stove offers 

this control.

and inserts, incorporating the ZR combustion technology, are 

so well manufactured that we offer a unique 5 year 

parts warranty. 

Some other manufacturers will only give an extended 

warranty on the outer body of the stove. We are unique in 

offering a 5 year warranty not only on the outer body of the 

stove but also a 5 year parts warranty on all the internal 

cast iron components within the combustion chamber of 

these Efel and Nestor Martin stoves and inserts.

Brilliant solutions are often simple little details which nevertheless make a huge difference in our everyday lives. 

HWAM’s patented automatic system ‘Autopilot’ is no exception to this rule. It consists of a small spring which 

automatically regulates the supply of air to the combustion chamber . A strikingly simple, yet ingeniously brilliant 

function which offers numerous benefits – both for you and for the environment. 

Simple, convenient operation 

The Hwam Autopilot means you do not have to worry about 

manually regulating the air supply. The autopilot system 

optimizes the combustion for you completely automatically. 

All you need to do is to light up the stove and enjoy the 

flames and the heat to the full, when you add more firewood, 

the system will automatically adjust the stove to constantly 

achieve the optimum combustion. 

Clean burning 

The Hwam Autopilot optimizes combustion ensuring clean, 

efficient combustion, with minimal soot and ash. This translates 

into easier cleaning – of both the chimney and the stove itself. 

In addition, the combustion chamber is designed with a unique 

window rinsing system which keeps the glass perfectly clear. 

This way you can always enjoy an optimum view of the flames 

with a minimum amount of cleaning. 

More energy, better economy 

The Hwam Autopilot system maximises the energy obtained 

from the firewood. The Danish Technological Institute have 

shown the Hwam Autopilot system to be 17 per cent more 

efficient than the equivalent stove without this system, and 

can produce up to 40 percent more heat. In short, you get 

much more heating for your money with a HWAM.

Easy on the environment 

The Hwam Autopilot system means you can light up your stove 

with a green conscience, as the cleaner consumption reduces 

the strain on the environment to a minimum. Hwam stoves 

bears the Euroheat smoke control approved label, which means

The automatic dampers ensure that combustion air is led to the right places 

in the combustion chamber, in the right quantities and at the right time to 

ensure optimum combustion. 

The bimetallic spring in the HWAM Autopilot controls the positions of the 

dampers. As the temperature in the combustion chamber rises, the spring 

expands and moves the dampers, shutting off the supply of primary air and 

opening up the supply of secondary air. It is solely the temperature in the 

combustion chamber that determines how the dampers move. The entire 

process is ongoing so that the supply of air for each stage of combustion 

is adjusted precisely to ensure the most eco-friendly, fuel-conserving 

combustion. 

With a Hwam Autopilot system you can simply sit back in your chair and let 

the stove do the work.

There is nothing quite as relaxing as a roaring wood fire. With Rika, you also 

get high efficiency, aesthetic design, and one of the finest crafted stoves 

available. We have a wide variety of stove styles and fuel types to choose - 

from the 360 degree rotating Twist, to the elegance and charm of the lava 

stone Fox. Need hot water? The Rika Tavo Aqua or Evo Aqua could be the 

perfect choice for you.

RLS comfort - manual control 

The comfortable one-hand operation allows easy manual 

operation of the Rika system. One simple manual operation is 

all that is needed to control the air distribution on the stove 

during each combustion phase. 

Rikatronic - automatic control 

Rikatronic means the air supply is automatically controlled 

during each combustion phase leading to maximum efficiency, 

high cost savings and perfected environmental friendliness. 

Up to 90% fewer emissions 

Clearer view and attractive flame due to complete 

combustion 

Omits the need for manual control of the air distribution 

Up to 50% less consumption of wood due to hot ember 

retention and extension of the fuel load time

Optimum heat storage 

Visible stones and ceramics guarantee long heat periods. 

During the burning period heat is absorbed by the stove or 

ceramic covers. This heat is stored and allows gradual release 

for many hours after the stove has died down. 

Odourless coating 

Only highly heat-resistant paints of top quality are used for 

Rika stoves. They allow heating without the smell of solvent 

from the very start. 

Self cleaning glass 

The glass air wash developed by Rika and registered for 

patent provides a clear view thanks to optimum air circulation 

without any manual intervention. 

Cast iron door 

The solid cast iron door remains air tight and distortion free 

even at the highest temperatures, ensuring top air circulation

Plus Model Explained 

The Plus model features the Rikatronic control system. This electronic control system automatically adjusts the combustion 

process to ensure maximum efficiency and complete combustion throughout the burn cycle. The Rikatronic system will also 

indicate the optimum refuelling point by means of an illuminated display.

Automated Heating 

The Evo Aqua is a highly efficient wood pellet boiler stove. The stove features an integrated pellet hopper 

capable of holding up to 36kg of pellets,giving days of use between refilling. The Evo Aqua is designed for use 

in an unvented (sealed) system in conjunction with an accumulator. The stove automatically starts and stops 

itself according to the heating and hot water demand, and achives over 90% efficiency. The Evo Aqua is MCS 

certified and is therefore eligible under the Renewable Heat incentive (RHI) and Renewable Heat Incentive 

Premium Payment (RHPP) schemes. With just a 10% output to room, the stove is ideally suited to providing 

year round heating and hot water to low energy homes.

Design, commissioning, servicing 


Design Services 

To assist with correct implementation of our biomass boilers, Euroheat offer 

a system connection design service. The design service will provide 2D, 3D 

printed and/or email schematic designs based upon the information provided. 

This service will be implemented once an official purchase order has been 

received. 

Commissioning Services 

The functions, control, cleaning and maintenance of the heating system will be 

explained to the customer. A heating test-run is performed with measurement 

of emissions and function check of the system. Set-up and instruction is 

performed by a trained Rika/SHT specialist. If initial commissioning is not 

performed by a trained Rika 

specialist, no liability can be assumed for shortcomings due to incorrect 

set-up. No warranty is applicable without fully completed commissioning. If 

commissioning cannot be achieved then a re-visit charge will apply. 

Necessary requirements prior to commissioning: 

Entire heating system to be completely connected to electrical and water 

supplies to ensure heat transfer. Sufficient fuel of a suitable type must be 

prepared. 

Maintenance/Servicing 

Regular annual servicing of the heating system by a competent Rika specialist 

engineer ensures: 

Fault-free operation 

Longer service life of the heating system 

Savings on fuel 

Environmental protection 

The boiler must be switched off the night before servicing is scheduled. 

Maintenance/servicing only includes labour. All parts and replacement items are in addition to service costs. 

If for any reason maintenance/servicing cannot be performed a re-charge will occur.

Burning wood is a carbon neutral heating source and considered an alternative source of energy. 

A WIKING combustion chamber is developed with a focus on high efficiency and insulated with vermiculite, a mineral

Cast iron and sheet iron

sheet iron. The advantage of a convection stove is that it heats 

up and distributes the air quickly in the room. The new WIKING 

series has an extra solid top plate and a robust cast iron door.

smooth sheet iron with the somewhat more rustic cast iron.

One touch closing system 

The Volcanic boosts solid cast iron doors which can be closed 

with the smart “One Touch Closing System”. Push the door 

lightly, and it will close safely and comfortably. 

Regulation lever 

As well as the one touch closing system the Volcanic range 

also has a simple one touch lever for easy operation This one 

lever controls primary, secondary and tertiary combustion air. 

Window rinse air ensures that the large glass window 

remains clean. 

Combustion air system 

An outside air system can be connected to the new WIKING 

series, either at the bottom or at the rear of the stove. 

The combustion air system is particularly suitable for new 

and well-insulated homes. The stove automatically sucks in 

fresh air from the outside and uses this air during combustion, 

leaving combustion independent of the air in the room.

Storage 

WIKING Volcanic 2 features a practical storage 

room under the combustion chamber. Press lightly 

on the door, and the storage room will open. 

Soapstone – more than just decoration. 

Soapstone is a mixed-grey natural stone found in only a few 

places around the world. Its natural patterns and changing 

play of colours make it a decorative and exclusive cladding for 

woodburning stoves.

The cowl performs best in areas where there is air turbulence causing unstable and erratic flue

Euroheat flue pipe is a comprehensive range of vitreous enamelled steel flue manufactured in accordance 

with ISO 9002 Certification and the vitreous enamelling is to class SA when tested and assessed to BS 

1344, Part 3 1988, ISO 8290 1987. Euroheat flue pipe is suitable for all fuels manufactured and is with an 

integral spigot and socket. The standard access door is a stainless steel finish, brass finished access doors 

are available as an optional extra.

The Euroheat moisture meter is the only way to check moisture content of your wood 

Technical detail 

The moisture content of wood for burning should be as low as 

possible, but certainly below 25%. This is particularly important 

if you are burning wood in a smoke exempt area in an approved 

appliance. In this case the wood should be 20% or less. Wood 

with a moisture content above this will not burn cleanly or 

efficiently.

Technical Information 

This log store has been designed to encourage nature to naturally dry freshly sawn timber as 

quickly as possible. Dependent upon type of wood, diameter and length, split or not split, this 

process can take anywhere between six and twenty-four months. 

Dry wood is a must for any type of wood burning. You must either buy pre-dried timber and 

keep it dry, or season your own. The log store has been designed in a modular fashion, therefore 

facilitating both types of approach. One log store holds up to 1.5m3 of logs, if you are buying predried 

timber this may be adequate for your needs. However, if you are naturally seasoning larger 

quantities just join two or more together side by side or back to back. Remember burning dry 

wood will give you efficient, cost effective heating.
