Fraxfill, Permabond and Heat Resistant Paint
Fraxfill is a pliable (tacky putty) white ceramic fibre gap fill supplied in form for use with a sealant
gun. Fraxfill is recommended for applications with operating temperatures of 1200°C. Permabond
is a jointing compound for use with threaded unions (oil, gas, water).

Heater band

Euroheat cowls
Vitally important for correct commissioning
Euroheat cowl EC2
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel (bird guard must be removed for solid fuel).
The cowl performs best in areas where there is air turbulence causing unstable and erratic flue
conditions. The cowl may overcome this problem and stabilize the flue giving a better controllable
flue draught (a must for correct commissioning).
The cowl is also designed to combat downdraught.
The cowl is available with 4”, 5” and 6” clamp/fixing plates for flexible liners.

Euroheat adapter plate for EC2
The Euroheat adapter plate has been designed specifically for the EC2 cowl. It not only supports
the liner but also the cowl itself and additionally helps seal the chimney. This Item is highly
recommended by Euroheat as it helps with correct fitting of the cowl. The Adapter plate comes
complete with all fixings, brackets and screws to aid fitting.

Euroheat cowl EC3
Suitable for gas, oil and solid fuel (bird guard must be removed for solid fuel).
The cowl has been designed to cure a specific problem which is excessive updraught caused by the
wind. Works particularly well in exposed areas and may stabilize the flue where this
condition exists. Fits 6” to 10” chimney pots.

with ISO 9002 Certification and the vitreous enamelling is to class SA when tested and assessed to BS
1344, Part 3 1988, ISO 8290 1987. Euroheat flue pipe is suitable for all fuels manufactured and is with an
integral spigot and socket. The standard access door is a stainless steel finish, brass finished access doors
are available as an optional extra.

The Ash Vac is an extremely convenient tool, used for
removing ash from your multifuel stove or fireplace. This
large capacity, simple to operate, canister system is used
in conjunction with your existing vacuum cleaner.
The Ash Vac uses a simple cyclonic principle to keep the
ash in the canister, this means your household vacuum
cleaner will remain unaffected by the ash removal process,
most importantly it will remain clean. The motorised
model removes the requirement of using your old vaccum as it
has a built in vaccum motor.

Moisture meter
The Euroheat moisture meter is the only way to check moisture content of your wood
Technical detail
The moisture content of wood for burning should be as low as
possible, but certainly below 25%. This is particularly important
if you are burning wood in a smoke exempt area in an approved
appliance. In this case the wood should be 20% or less. Wood
with a moisture content above this will not burn cleanly or
efficiently.

Technical Information
This log store has been designed to encourage nature to naturally dry freshly sawn timber as
quickly as possible. Dependent upon type of wood, diameter and length, split or not split, this
process can take anywhere between six and twenty-four months.
Dry wood is a must for any type of wood burning. You must either buy pre-dried timber and
keep it dry, or season your own. The log store has been designed in a modular fashion, therefore
facilitating both types of approach. One log store holds up to 1.5m3 of logs, if you are buying predried
timber this may be adequate for your needs. However, if you are naturally seasoning larger
quantities just join two or more together side by side or back to back. Remember burning dry
wood will give you efficient, cost effective heating.
