Rika has been pursuing research and development in the field of stoves for
over 20 years, and still today plays a pioneering role in the development of
wood technology from its headquarters in Austria’s Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen region.
Since as long ago as the 16th century, the area has been famous for the
skill of its population in handling all kinds of metals. The final touch to Rika
products is still done by hand, just as it was 100 years ago.
There is nothing quite as relaxing as a roaring wood fire. With Rika, you also
get high efficiency, aesthetic design, and one of the finest crafted stoves
available. We have a wide variety of stove styles and fuel types to choose -
from the 360 degree rotating Twist, to the elegance and charm of the lava
stone Fox. Need hot water? The Rika Tavo Aqua or Evo Aqua could be the
perfect choice for you.

RLS comfort - manual control
The comfortable one-hand operation allows easy manual
operation of the Rika system. One simple manual operation is
all that is needed to control the air distribution on the stove
during each combustion phase.
Rikatronic - automatic control
Rikatronic means the air supply is automatically controlled
during each combustion phase leading to maximum efficiency,
high cost savings and perfected environmental friendliness.
Up to 90% fewer emissions
Clearer view and attractive flame due to complete
combustion
Omits the need for manual control of the air distribution
Up to 50% less consumption of wood due to hot ember
retention and extension of the fuel load time
Notification of optimal re-fuel point via led display
Robust construction
The extra-thick material used for the combustion chamber
prevents it from distortion and ensures your stove can be used
for many years to come.
Optimum heat storage
Visible stones and ceramics guarantee long heat periods.
During the burning period heat is absorbed by the stove or
ceramic covers. This heat is stored and allows gradual release
for many hours after the stove has died down.
Odourless coating
Only highly heat-resistant paints of top quality are used for
Rika stoves. They allow heating without the smell of solvent
from the very start.
Self cleaning glass
The glass air wash developed by Rika and registered for
patent provides a clear view thanks to optimum air circulation
without any manual intervention.
Cast iron door
The solid cast iron door remains air tight and distortion free
even at the highest temperatures, ensuring top air circulation
and combustion efficiency.
High quality ceramics
The wide selection of ceramics are of superb quality and
guarantee each Rika stove unique heat resistance and
long life.
Heat resistant fireclay
The lining of Rika combustion chambers not only allow very
high temperatures but also ensures significantly cleaner
combustion.

Plus Model Explained
The Plus model features the Rikatronic control system. This electronic control system automatically adjusts the combustion
process to ensure maximum efficiency and complete combustion throughout the burn cycle. The Rikatronic system will also
indicate the optimum refuelling point by means of an illuminated display.
Please note, the Plus model with Rikatronic requires 230V electrical supply.

The Evo Aqua must be installed with a minimum
buffer tank size as follows:
Evo Aqua 9kW 400 litres
Evo Aqua 15kW 500 litres
If combined with hot water production, the
minimum buffer tank size to ensure a good supply
of hot water is 600 litres.

Automated Heating
The Evo Aqua is a highly efficient wood pellet boiler stove. The stove features an integrated pellet hopper
capable of holding up to 36kg of pellets,giving days of use between refilling. The Evo Aqua is designed for use
in an unvented (sealed) system in conjunction with an accumulator. The stove automatically starts and stops
itself according to the heating and hot water demand, and achives over 90% efficiency. The Evo Aqua is MCS
certified and is therefore eligible under the Renewable Heat incentive (RHI) and Renewable Heat Incentive
Premium Payment (RHPP) schemes. With just a 10% output to room, the stove is ideally suited to providing
year round heating and hot water to low energy homes.

Design, commissioning, servicing

Design Services
To assist with correct implementation of our biomass boilers, Euroheat offer
a system connection design service. The design service will provide 2D, 3D
printed and/or email schematic designs based upon the information provided.
This service will be implemented once an official purchase order has been
received.
Commissioning Services
The functions, control, cleaning and maintenance of the heating system will be
explained to the customer. A heating test-run is performed with measurement
of emissions and function check of the system. Set-up and instruction is
performed by a trained Rika/SHT specialist. If initial commissioning is not
performed by a trained Rika
specialist, no liability can be assumed for shortcomings due to incorrect
set-up. No warranty is applicable without fully completed commissioning. If
commissioning cannot be achieved then a re-visit charge will apply.
Necessary requirements prior to commissioning:
Entire heating system to be completely connected to electrical and water
supplies to ensure heat transfer. Sufficient fuel of a suitable type must be
prepared.
Maintenance/Servicing
Regular annual servicing of the heating system by a competent Rika specialist
engineer ensures:
Fault-free operation
Longer service life of the heating system
Savings on fuel
Environmental protection
The boiler must be switched off the night before servicing is scheduled.
Maintenance/servicing only includes labour. All parts and replacement items are in addition to service costs.
If for any reason maintenance/servicing cannot be performed a re-charge will occur.
