If the bulk of the hot water to be used is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. the orientation of the collector should be North-East (NE). If the hot water is to be used after 2 p.m. the collector should be orientated in North West (NW) direction allowing longer harvesting of the solar energy during the afternoon hours. The orientation of the collector(s) in the above conditions is shown in Figure 3 to Figure 5. 10
