Every year <strong>ESGE</strong> offers a total of fifteen<br />
fellowship grants to young gastroenterologists<br />
from around the globe. Training<br />
takes place in sixteen official <strong>ESGE</strong> host<br />
units, centres which are renowned for<br />
their excellence and tutorial skills.<br />
Grant winners report enthusiastically on<br />
the improvement of their endoscopic<br />
skills and contribution to their hospital.<br />

<strong>ESGE</strong> Research grant<br />
Application deadline:<br />
August 16, <strong>2013</strong><br />
<strong>ESGE</strong> offers up to two grants of 10,000 €<br />
each per year to original research projects<br />
in gastroenterology.<br />
Preference will be given to multicentre<br />
projects presenting original ideas by<br />
well-organized teams with a reasonable<br />
budget.<br />

The Given Imaging research grant supports<br />
innovative, original research in gastroenterology<br />

Post-show summary<br />
The recently held <strong>ESGE</strong> sponsored meeting<br />
in Dubai was a great success, welcoming<br />
over 600 participants from 32 countries<br />
The Live Endoscopy Workshop took<br />
place in 4 separate sessions over 2 days<br />
and was broadcast live from Rashid Hospital<br />
in Dubai to the Dubai World Trade.<br />

A number of cases were presented live by<br />
world renowned experts – Ibrahim Mostafa,<br />
Marc Giovannini, Jacques Deviere,<br />
