REGENERACIJA BILJAKA IZ PROTOPLASTA DOBIJENIH IZ<br />

HIPOKOTILA SUNCOKRETA (Helianthus annuus L.)<br />

Protoplasti dobijeni iz etioliranih hipokotila gajenog suncokreta su postavljeni u kapljice<br />

agaroze i gajeni prema protokolu Trabace et al. (1995). Dobijeni mikrokalusi su osloboðeni<br />

iz kapljica agaroze i prebaèeni na èvrste regeneracione podloge.<br />

Regeneracija biljaka je dobijena na MSE regeneracionoj podlozi (Wingender et al.,<br />

1996) nakon kratkotrajnog tretmana sa 2,2 µM Thidiazuron (TDZ). Indukcija korena je<br />

postignuta potapanjem izdanaka u IBA rastvor. Uspešno ukorenjene biljke su cvetale.<br />

PLANT REGENERATION FROM HYPOCOTYL PROTOPLASTS OF<br />

SUNFLOWER (Helianthus annuus L.)<br />

Hypocotyl protoplasts of sunflower were cultured in agarose droplets according to the<br />

protocol of Trabace et al. (1995). Resulting micro calluses were released from agarose<br />

and transferred onto different solid regeneration media.<br />

Shoot regeneration was achieved by culture of calluses onto MSE regeneration medium<br />

(Wingender et al., 1996) after treatment with 2,2 µM Thidiazuron (TDZ) for a limited period.<br />

Freshly excised shoots were induced to root by IBA treatment. Regenerated plants<br />

were flowered.
