Ovo istraivanje je obavljeno tokom tri godine u dva poljska ogleda, u uslovima sa i bez<br />

navodnjavanja. Ispitivano je osam hibrida kukuruza koji pripadaju razlièitim FAO<br />

grupama zrenja. Cilj istraivanja bio je utvrðivanje razlike u duini vegetacije u<br />

razlièitim uslovima gajenja i u hemijskom sastavu zrna kukuruza.<br />

Najveæe promene u hemijskom sasatavu zrna, u zavisnosti od grupe zrenja i<br />

navodnjavanja, utvrðene su za sadraj proteina i šeæera. Sadraj proteina bio je najviši za<br />

hibrid ZP480 i u uslovima suše (13.6%) i u navodnjavanju (12.2%). Sadraj šeæera u<br />

navodnjavanju bio je najnii kod hibrida ZP360 (67.23%), a najviši kod hibrida ZP599<br />

(69.3%). U uslovima suše najviši sadraj šeæera bio je kod hibrida ZP360 (69.69%), a<br />

najnie vrednosti kod ZP599 (65.72%).<br />

Ovakva variranja u sadraju šeæera i proteina su posledica reakcije hibrida na razlièite<br />

uslove gajenja i osetljivosti prema suši. Rezultati mogu biti od znaèaja za preporuku<br />

hibrida u razlièitim regionima u Republici Makedoniji.<br />

CHEMICAL CONTENT OF THE MAIZE KERNEL IN DIFFERENT<br />

MATURITY GROUPS AND GROWING CONDITIONS<br />

This investigation has been established in two trial fields, during three years, where have<br />

been used irrigated field and non-irrigated field. The research has been performed in<br />

eight hybrids of maize (ZP360, ZP480, ZP599, ZP677, Stira, Colomba, Cecilia, and<br />

Constanza), which belongs to different maturity groups.<br />

The aim of this research was to identify duration of vegetative period in different growing<br />

conditions and to investigate chemical content of kernels.<br />

Regarding chemical content of basic metabolites into maize seed, the biggest variations<br />

were detected for protein and sugar content.<br />

The percent of proteins was highest in ZP480, in both the irrigated (12,2%) and drought<br />

(13,6%) location. The content of sugars in irrigated locations was lowest in ZP360<br />

(67,23%) and highest in ZP599 (69,3%). In the drought location highest percent of sugars<br />

was noted in ZP360 (69,69%), while lowest figure noted in ZP599 (65,72%).<br />

These variations are results of reaction of the hybrids to different cultivated conditions<br />

and their susceptibility to drought. The results of this paper could help to recommend hybrids<br />

for different regions of the agricultural complex in Republic of Macedonia.
