GENETIÈKA VARIJABILNOST LUCERKE (Medicago sativa L.) ZA<br />

PRODUKCIJU I VANIJE MORFOLOŠKE OSOBINE<br />

Cilj rada je odreðivanje obima i strukture genetièke varijabilnosti poboljšane populacije<br />

lucerke. Istraivanja su obavljena u Centru za krmno bilje u Kruševcu. Potomstvo je<br />

dobijeno ruènim ukrštanjem sluèajno odabranih biljaka po proceduri koju su za<br />

ksenogamne biljke predloili Comstock i Robinson. Ogled je postavljen po Nested<br />

dizajnu I sa setovima u okviru ponavljanja. Prouèavano je ukupno 48 half-sib (HS)<br />

potomstava podeljena u dva seta. U toku trogodišnjeg perioda iskorišæavanja na<br />

pojedinaènim biljkama su praæene sledeæe osobine: prinos suve mase po biljci, visina<br />

biljaka, broj izdanaka po biljci, broj internodija po stabljici, debljina stabljike i odnos list:<br />

stablo.<br />

Rezultati ukazuju na visoku varijabilnost ispitivanih osobina u sve tri godine istraivanja.<br />

Najveæe vrednosti za skoro sve osobine su zabeleene u drugoj godini istraivanja.<br />

Utvrðeni intervali variranja ukazuju na visok genetièki potencijal ispitivane populacije.<br />

Najveæa varijabilnost je dobijena za prinos suve materije po biljci (CVg 25%) i broj<br />

stabljika (CVg 30%), dok je nii koeficijent varijacije zabeleen za visinu biljaka (9%),<br />

broj internodija (5%) i ostale praæene osobine. Varijabilnost pojedinaènih biljaka u<br />

okviru HS potomstava je takoðe bila visoka. Utvrðen je jak uticaj visine biljaka i broja<br />

stabljika na prinos suve materije. Rezultati ukazuju na znaèajnu genetièku varijabilnost<br />

unutar populacije.<br />

GENETIC VARIABILITY FOR PRODUCTION AND MORFOLOGICAL<br />

TRAITS OF ALFALFA (Medicago sativa L.)<br />

The aim of this investigation is to determined genetic variability for production and<br />

morfological traits of alfalfa. The experiment was realized in the Center for forage crops<br />

in Krusevac. The progeny used for examining genetic variability were obtained by hand<br />

polination of randomly chosen plants from population according to a procedure for<br />

xenogam plants suggested by Comstock and Robinson (1948). There have been studied<br />

48 half -sib (HS) progenies separeted in two sets. During three years period the following<br />

caracteristic have been examined on spaced plants: dry matter yield per plant, plant<br />

height, number of steam per plant, number of internodium on main steam, width of steam<br />

and leaf- steam ratio.<br />

Results showed a high variability for examined traits in all three years of investigation.<br />

The higher values for almost all traits was noticed in second years of utillization. Determinated<br />

levels of mean values and intervals of variability indicate high genetic potential<br />

of evaluated population for all examined traits The highest variability was obtained for<br />

dry matter yield (CVg 25%) and number of steam (CVg 30% ), while the lower coefficient<br />

of variation was noticed for number of internodium (5%) and plant height (9%).<br />

Variability of individual plants within HS progeny was higher for all traits than variability<br />

between HS. The strong correlation was assessed for dry matter yield and plant<br />

height. The high variation of examined traits represent on significant genetic variability<br />

inside the population.
