The European Master Admission Test is the entrance examination for students with a Bachelor’s
degree awarded in a European Union country outside of France after at least 3 years of university
studies outside of France. This entrance examination allows the candidates to enter into ESCP
Europe Master in Management in the 1 st Master year. This programme gives a choice of several
school careers in 2 or 3 countries, at our five European campuses and/or at one of our 71 partner
universities. In all cases the total programme lasts 2 academic years. To obtain the diploma 39
weeks of internships are required. Previous professional experiences can be validated. In the Paris
campus, instruction is given in French or English. In the other campuses, instruction is given in the
local language.

Each semester in Paris, London*, Madrid,

London or Madrid for specific courses (semester 2 only),
or a partner university
The choice of school career depends on the Diplomas the students want to obtain and on their
proficiency in the languages of the chosen countries.
At the time of application, the location(s) of the first year of study for each semester must be
chosen among Paris, London, Madrid or Berlin (semester 1). As instruction is given in the local
language (except for Paris: French or English and Berlin: 1 st semester English only), the students
must be proficient in the language(s) of the two first semesters and obtain a minimum score of
10/20 (average mark) on the relevant language test(s). For studying in other campuse(s) in the 2 nd
Master year, the language course at ESCP Europe in the relevant local language must be validated
before going to the corresponding campus.
When the students enter the programme, as they are automatically enrolled in the ESCP Europe
Master in Management (French degree), they must study at least one academic year at the ESCP
Europe campuses including one academic semester at the Paris campus (either in French* or in
English*). A validation of the French language course is required before the awards jury. In
addition, they may study at other ESCP Europe campuses or at one Partner University, limited to
three different countries overall.
Specific requirements to obtain the following degrees:
*MSc City University:
2 years / 3 countries: Study at least one academic semester at the Paris campus in French, one
academic semester (during the Master1) at the London campus and a 3 rd campus. No access to
any partner university.
2 years / 2 countries: Study one academic year (Master1) at the London campus & one academic
year (Master2) at the Paris campus in French. No access to any partner university.
German MSc:
At the time of application the applicants must have completed, at least, one year of higher
education in economics or management sanctioning a minimum of 60 ECTS credits in this field.
The German MSc necessarily asks for a first degree (minimum Bachelor 3 years, 180 ECTS).
Study in 3 different campuses: one of them being Paris, one Berlin. 2 internships (one in each
year) remain mandatory; a maximum of 15 weeks can be validated from previous professional
experiences. No access to any partner university.
“Master Europeo en Administración y Dirección de Empresas”:
Study one academic year (Master1) at the Madrid campus + internship in Spain or Latin America
& at least one academic semester at the Paris campus. Candidates with previous studies in Spain
need to hold the “Licenciatura”, “grado” or an engineering degree.

The European Master Admission Test is a competitive entrance examination where the applicants
are accepted according to their rank. In 2011, 200 places are going to be offered to students
entering through this Test. Applicants of all testing centres are ranked in one single list for
selection, and the top students are accepted.
• Registration requirements: Candidates must
- Have a Bachelor’s degree awarded in a European Union country outside of France after at
least 3 years of university studies outside of France (180 ECTS credits),
- Not be older than 30 during the application year.
Candidates of all nationalities are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who are in the course of their third year of higher education at the same year of
application should provide all transcripts available at that time. The deadline for providing their
Bachelor’s degree (or transcripts with 180 ECTS credits) is the 1 st of November of the year of
admission. Failure to provide diploma or transcripts by this deadline will result in getting the
admission declared invalid. Therefore the candidate will be excluded from the programme and all
fees already paid will not be reimbursed.

1- Verbal and mathematical test: This test is computer-based and can be taken in any of the
languages available. The duration of the test is about 1 hour altogether, including about 15 minutes
for the verbal part and about 20 minutes for the mathematical part.

If the higher education of the applicants has been in English, French, German, Italian or
Spanish, they must take the 2 interviews in this language. Otherwise, they can choose among
those offered.
The group interview lasts up to 1 hour. It features simple intercultural management situations and
involves interaction with other candidates.
3- Foreign languages:
All applicants are tested in 2 languages (other than their native language) among English, French,
German, Italian, and Spanish. As they must be proficient in the language of their first country of
studies at ESCP Europe, they will be tested in it unless it is their native language. In the case they
want to study in a different campus in the second semester of the M1 they will be tested in the
relevant language. In addition, either French or English must be tested if neither is their native
language.

The application form is not available in paper form. The applicants may download the electronic
version from our website www.escpeurope.eu (Master in Management Join the programme
Former studies in … European Master Admission Test how to apply?), print it and fill it out (for
the Torino testing centre, use the on-line application).
The application is composed of the completed application form, a payment of 155€/£130 and the
following documents:
• One picture ID (on the application form) / Photocopy of passport or identity card / Your resume (Curriculum
Vitae)
• Transcripts of all years of higher education (certified copies) in a European Union country and outside of
France
• Bachelor degree -if the candidate holds it already- (certified copy) in a European Union country and outside
of France
• Certificates of work internships
• Language tests and certificates if needed. Test date(s) must be no more than 2 years old.
• Proof of payment of the non-refundable application fee (155€/£130)
Whenever one of these documents is in a language other than the School’s 5 languages, a certified
translation must be provided with a photocopy of the original document. In the case of university
transcripts, a translation stamped by the university is acceptable.
The completed application file has to be sent to the relevant ESCP Europe Admissions Office by post
mail (on-line to the Torino testing centre). The deadline (see the chart below) is the latest
postmark date at which the application must be mailed to us. Applications will not be accepted by
e-mail or by fax.

The application fee of €155 (£130 in London) must be paid at the time of application (unpaid
applications will not be reviewed). Please note that the application procedure and the procedure for
paying the application fee are slightly different if you take the test in Berlin, London, Torino, Madrid, or
Luxemburg (see below).
