The <strong>Europe</strong>an <strong>Master</strong> Admission Test is the entrance exam<strong>in</strong>ation for students with a Bachelor’s<br />

degree awarded <strong>in</strong> a <strong>Europe</strong>an Union country outside of France after at least 3 years of university<br />

studies outside of France. This entrance exam<strong>in</strong>ation allows the candidates to enter <strong>in</strong>to <strong>ESCP</strong><br />

<strong>Europe</strong> <strong>Master</strong> <strong>in</strong> Management <strong>in</strong> the 1 st <strong>Master</strong> year. This programme gives a choice of several<br />

school careers <strong>in</strong> 2 or 3 countries, at our five <strong>Europe</strong>an campuses and/or at one of our 71 partner<br />

universities. In all cases the total programme lasts 2 academic years. To obta<strong>in</strong> the diploma 39<br />

weeks of <strong>in</strong>ternships are required. Previous professional experiences can be validated. In the Paris<br />

campus, <strong>in</strong>struction is given <strong>in</strong> French or English. In the other campuses, <strong>in</strong>struction is given <strong>in</strong> the<br />

The choice of school career depends on the Diplomas the students want to obta<strong>in</strong> and on their<br />

proficiency <strong>in</strong> the languages of the chosen countries.<br />

At the t<strong>im</strong>e of application, the location(s) of the first year of study for each semester must be<br />

chosen among Paris, London, Madrid or Berl<strong>in</strong> (semester 1). As <strong>in</strong>struction is given <strong>in</strong> the local<br />

language (except for Paris: French or English and Berl<strong>in</strong>: 1 st semester English only), the students<br />

must be proficient <strong>in</strong> the language(s) of the two first semesters and obta<strong>in</strong> a m<strong>in</strong><strong>im</strong>um score of<br />

10/20 (average mark) on the relevant language test(s). For study<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> other campuse(s) <strong>in</strong> the 2 nd<br />

<strong>Master</strong> year, the language course at <strong>ESCP</strong> <strong>Europe</strong> <strong>in</strong> the relevant local language must be validated<br />

before go<strong>in</strong>g to the correspond<strong>in</strong>g campus.<br />

When the students enter the programme, as they are automatically enrolled <strong>in</strong> the <strong>ESCP</strong> <strong>Europe</strong><br />

<strong>Master</strong> <strong>in</strong> Management (French degree), they must study at least one academic year at the <strong>ESCP</strong><br />

<strong>Europe</strong> campuses <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g one academic semester at the Paris campus (either <strong>in</strong> French* or <strong>in</strong><br />

English*). A validation of the French language course is required before the awards jury. In<br />

addition, they may study at other <strong>ESCP</strong> <strong>Europe</strong> campuses or at one Partner University, l<strong>im</strong>ited to<br />

three different countries overall.<br />

Specific requirements to obta<strong>in</strong> the follow<strong>in</strong>g degrees:<br />

*MSc City University:<br />

2 years / 3 countries: Study at least one academic semester at the Paris campus <strong>in</strong> French, one<br />

academic semester (dur<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>Master</strong>1) at the London campus and a 3 rd campus. No access to<br />

any partner university.<br />

2 years / 2 countries: Study one academic year (<strong>Master</strong>1) at the London campus & one academic<br />

year (<strong>Master</strong>2) at the Paris campus <strong>in</strong> French. No access to any partner university.<br />

German MSc:<br />

At the t<strong>im</strong>e of application the applicants must have completed, at least, one year of higher<br />

education <strong>in</strong> economics or management sanction<strong>in</strong>g a m<strong>in</strong><strong>im</strong>um of 60 ECTS credits <strong>in</strong> this field.<br />

The German MSc necessarily asks for a first degree (m<strong>in</strong><strong>im</strong>um Bachelor 3 years, 180 ECTS).<br />

Study <strong>in</strong> 3 different campuses: one of them be<strong>in</strong>g Paris, one Berl<strong>in</strong>. 2 <strong>in</strong>ternships (one <strong>in</strong> each<br />

year) rema<strong>in</strong> mandatory; a max<strong>im</strong>um of 15 weeks can be validated from previous professional<br />

experiences. No access to any partner university.<br />

“<strong>Master</strong> <strong>Europe</strong>o en Adm<strong>in</strong>istración y Dirección de Empresas”:<br />

Study one academic year (<strong>Master</strong>1) at the Madrid campus + <strong>in</strong>ternship <strong>in</strong> Spa<strong>in</strong> or Lat<strong>in</strong> America<br />

& at least one academic semester at the Paris campus. Candidates with previous studies <strong>in</strong> Spa<strong>in</strong><br />

need to hold the “Licenciatura”, “grado” or an eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g degree.<br />

The <strong>Europe</strong>an <strong>Master</strong> Admission Test is a competitive entrance exam<strong>in</strong>ation where the applicants<br />

are accepted accord<strong>in</strong>g to their rank. In <strong>2011</strong>, 200 places are go<strong>in</strong>g to be offered to students<br />

enter<strong>in</strong>g through this Test. Applicants of all test<strong>in</strong>g centres are ranked <strong>in</strong> one s<strong>in</strong>gle list for<br />

selection, and the top students are accepted.<br />

• Registration requirements: Candidates must<br />

- Have a Bachelor’s degree awarded <strong>in</strong> a <strong>Europe</strong>an Union country outside of France after at<br />

least 3 years of university studies outside of France (180 ECTS credits),<br />

- Not be older than 30 dur<strong>in</strong>g the application year.<br />

Candidates of all nationalities are encouraged to apply.<br />

Candidates who are <strong>in</strong> the course of their third year of higher education at the same year of<br />

application should provide all transcripts available at that t<strong>im</strong>e. The deadl<strong>in</strong>e for provid<strong>in</strong>g their<br />

Bachelor’s degree (or transcripts with 180 ECTS credits) is the 1 st of November of the year of<br />

admission. Failure to provide diploma or transcripts by this deadl<strong>in</strong>e will result <strong>in</strong> gett<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

admission declared <strong>in</strong>valid. Therefore the candidate will be excluded from the programme and all<br />

fees already paid will not be re<strong>im</strong>bursed.<br />

1- Verbal and mathematical test: This test is computer-based and can be taken <strong>in</strong> any of the<br />

languages available. The duration of the test is about 1 hour altogether, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g about 15 m<strong>in</strong>utes<br />

for the verbal part and about 20 m<strong>in</strong>utes for the mathematical part.<br />

If the higher education of the applicants has been <strong>in</strong> English, French, German, Italian or<br />

those offered.<br />

The group <strong>in</strong>terview lasts up to 1 hour. It features s<strong>im</strong>ple <strong>in</strong>tercultural management situations and<br />

<strong>in</strong>volves <strong>in</strong>teraction with other candidates.<br />

3- Foreign languages:<br />

All applicants are tested <strong>in</strong> 2 languages (other than their native language) among English, French,<br />

German, Italian, and Spanish. As they must be proficient <strong>in</strong> the language of their first country of<br />

studies at <strong>ESCP</strong> <strong>Europe</strong>, they will be tested <strong>in</strong> it unless it is their native language. In the case they<br />

want to study <strong>in</strong> a different campus <strong>in</strong> the second semester of the M1 they will be tested <strong>in</strong> the<br />

relevant language. In addition, either French or English must be tested if neither is their native<br />

language.<br />

The application form is not available <strong>in</strong> paper form. The applicants may download the electronic<br />

version from our website www.escpeurope.eu (<strong>Master</strong> <strong>in</strong> Management Jo<strong>in</strong> the programme <br />

Former studies <strong>in</strong> … <strong>Europe</strong>an <strong>Master</strong> Admission Test how to apply?), pr<strong>in</strong>t it and fill it out (for<br />

the Tor<strong>in</strong>o test<strong>in</strong>g centre, use the on-l<strong>in</strong>e application).<br />

The application is composed of the completed application form, a payment of 155€/£130 and the<br />

follow<strong>in</strong>g documents:<br />

• One picture ID (on the application form) / Photocopy of passport or identity card / Your resume (Curriculum<br />

Vitae)<br />

• Transcripts of all years of higher education (certified copies) <strong>in</strong> a <strong>Europe</strong>an Union country and outside of<br />

dur<strong>in</strong>g your studies at <strong>ESCP</strong> <strong>Europe</strong> if the level has not been tested <strong>in</strong> the entrance exam or if it was not<br />

sufficient. Dur<strong>in</strong>g the whole programme, you are allowed to study <strong>in</strong> three different countries max<strong>im</strong>um.<br />

You will be tested <strong>in</strong> 2 languages among English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. You must be<br />

proficient <strong>in</strong> the language(s) of your first country/ies of study. The courses are <strong>in</strong> English <strong>in</strong> London, <strong>in</strong><br />
