Techno live and in the Cath lab sessions
Building on the success of the Congress in 2011 the “Techno Live”
case transmissions will be broadcast to Athens allowing the audience
to closely follow the procedures and benefit from the experience of
the experts.
Additionally pre-recorded cases have been added this year as “In the
Cath Lab” sessions and will be presented within an interactive format
where real life challenging cases will be:
• Demonstrated by the experts
• Discussed with the audience
• Concluded with recommendations and take-home messages

Genetics summit
The Summit is designed to offer attendees a comprehensive learning opportunity that will encompass all
aspects of Cardio-genetics of Arrhythmias, spanning from basic science to genetic screening to patient
management. Beside conventional lectures, the programme will include a session dedicated to the
discussion of clinical cases with involvement of the audience. On Tuesday in Room lefkada

late breaking Trials
Due to the exceptionally high quality level of abstracts submitted for the
Late Breaking Trials session we felt obliged to add a second session to
give more time to present the latest information on trials, registries and
other relevant information in the field of Arrhythmias. These sessions
will include discussants to add an objective view to each abstract.

EsC Guidelines session
The new 2013 version of the ESC Guidelines on Cardiac Pacing and Cardiac
Resynchronisation Therapy will be made public for the first time. These guidelines
provide an up to date specialists’ view of the field and play a pivotal role in contributing
to the European system of cardiology. On Tuesday in Room Rhodes
