Revelation 13:5: The Mouth of the United States
of the World
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things
and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue
forty and two months. (Revelation 13:5)

Introduction
After completing the earlier chapters in this work, two relatively short, unique
and edifying Christian books written by Bob Fraley entitled God Reveals The
Identity Of The Beast (1978) and The Beast Of Revelation 13 (1995) crossed my
path. Bob Fraley’s biographical sketch can be read at

In spite of the uniqueness of our interpretations of Revelation 13, Bob Fraley
and I have many prophetic points of agreement including the belief that the
beast of Revelation 13 is a kingdom and not a person.
We disagree on minor points, including his belief that the 1941 Pearl Harbor
attack by the Japanese military forces upon the U.S. Pacific Fleet was the fatal
wound to the head of the beast kingdom. Fraley believes that the wound was
healed through the victorious military conquests of the U.S. over her WWII
enemies during the 42 month period from 1942-1945. He believes that this
time period fulfills Revelation 13:3-5. He also believes that the rise of the
United States to global superpower preeminence fulfills the prophecy of
Revelation 13:6-7. I contend that this is incorrect because the global
preeminence of the beast kingdom is linked with the future global mark of the
beast mandate prophesied in Revelation 13:11-18. It’s also important to note
that a complete historist perspective on biblical prophecy is proven false by the
undisputable fact that Revelation 13:15-18 has never been fulfilled in world
history.
The last chapter showed how the seventh kingdom, the United States of
America, is apparently destroyed, only to be transformed into the final global
beast kingdom prophesied by Daniel and John.
This chapter continues studying Revelation 13 by examining the prophecy of
Revelation 13:5. It provides further information concerning the agenda and
accomplishments of the fourth and final global beast kingdom. In doing so, it
accesses much of the biblical interpretation of Revelation 13:1-4 found in
earlier chapters of this work.
There are many parallels between the United States of America and the little
horn kingdom led by Antichrist. Some of these sobering parallels will be
discussed here with great caution recognizing that the Antichrist hasn’t been
revealed yet.
Merged prophecies of Daniel and Revelation
Daniel’s Old Testament prophecies help interpret John’s New Testament
prophecies. The complete biblical image of the final global kingdom drawn for

us by the Holy Spirit emerges when the prophetic puzzle pieces of Daniel
Chapters 2, 7 and 8 are merged with corresponding parts found in Revelation
Chapters 13 and 17.
For example, the little horn of Daniel’s Old Testament prophecies represents a
kingdom. In the Revelation, John refers to this little horn kingdom as the beast
out of the earth. In this chapter, this kingdom will be referred to as the little
horn beast out of the earth kingdom (LHBOOTEK).
The LHBOOTEK is a separate beast kingdom from the 10 kingdom beast out of
the sea kingdom of Revelation 13:1. It’s an 11 th kingdom led by the vile king
Antichrist. (Daniel 7:7-9; Daniel 7:20; Daniel 7:24-26; Daniel 8:9-12; Daniel
8:23-25; Revelation 13:11-18)

A second example illustrating how Daniel’s Old Testament prophecies help
interpret John’s prophecies is that the beast out of the sea kingdom of
Revelation 13 is referred to in Daniel’s prophecy as the fourth beast or fourth
kingdom. In this chapter this final global kingdom will be called the
4THBOOTSK. (Daniel 2:40-45; Daniel 7:7; Daniel 7:19-24; Revelation 13:1-7)

The mouth given to the beast is Antichrist the false prophet
Revelation 13:2, Revelation 13:7 and Revelation 17:17 reveal that Satan will
empower the world’s kingdoms with his temporary global authority. This power
is received by the ten kingdoms willingly placing themselves under the
authority of the LHBOOTEK in order to accomplish God’s purposes of testing
the righteous and judging the wicked. (Revelation 17:12-18; Joel 3:14)
In Revelation 13:4 the deluded lost world is seen fawning in worship of both
the global superiority of the 4THBOOTSK’s military strength and Satan. Satan
is the false god behind the military prowess of 4THBOOTSK.

In Revelation 13:5, we see that the 4THBOOTSK is given a mouth. That mouth
is given the authority to rule 4THBOOTSK for 42 months or 3.5 years.
(Revelation 17:10-17) It’s during this 42 month period that the 4thBOOTSK
makes war with the saints and overcomes them. (Revelation 13:7) Forty and
two months is the same length of time that the antichristian troops of the
global beast kingdom “trample the holy city” (Revelation 11:2). Forty two
months is also how long the saints of God are given into the hand of the little
horn kingdom. (Daniel 7:23-25) Hearing these verses in concert reveals the
connection between the mouth given to 4THBOOTSK and the little horn
kingdom LHBOOTEK.

Merging these scriptures reveals that the mouth given to 4THBOOTSK is a
reference to Antichrist the false prophet. He will be the mouth or leader of the
LHBOOTEK. The LHBOOTEK leads or exercises all the power of the beast out
of the sea kingdom the 4THBOOTSK.
Earlier in this work it was pointed out that despotic Babylonian King
Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom was said to be “like a lion”. Daniel said that the
savage global kingdom 4THBOOTSK will have the “mouth of a lion”. This
mouth indicates that the 4THBOOTSK will be a powerful dictatorship like
Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian Empire was.
The word mouth used in Revelation 13:5 literally means the front edge of a
sword. In the context of Revelation 13:5, the sword would refer to the global
military supremacy of the 4THBOOTSK.
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they
worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to
make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty
and two months.” (Revelation 13:4-5)
Looking at the meaning of the word mouth from another angle, consider that
Webster’s 1828 Dictionary defines mouth as a principal speaker; one that
utters the common opinion. In the case of 4THBOOTSK, the spokesman or
mouth could be considered the front edge of the beastly sword or tip of the
beastly spear. In context, the common opinion refers to the deceitful,
antichristian, immoral, socio-political propaganda of the global beast kingdom
promoting its war. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)
According to Revelation 13:2, the power given to the mouth of the
4THBOOTSK is provided by Satan. In the study of Revelation 13:1 it was
mentioned that in the United States of America is allegedly the new claimant to
the legendary Spear of Destiny. This spear is believed to harness rulers with
evil powers associated with it. Author and Historian Trevor Ravenscroft writes
that this transfer of power occurred when Adolf Hitler shot himself on April 30,
1945 and U.S. Army Intelligence, Section 5, discovered the Spear in a hidden
vault within Nuremberg Castle. Ravenscroft links the proof of the reality of the
transfer of this occult talisman of power from Germany to the United States
with the birth of the most destructive of all weapons, the atomic bomb, on July
16, 1945. As further confirmation of this exchange of demonic power, Robert
Oppenheimer, the bomb’s architect, remarked that the United States had done
the Devil’s work in dropping the bomb on the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and
Hiroshima murdering 187,757 innocents. (Tim Wallace-Murphy, 1990)

Oppenheimer is quoted as exclaiming “I am become Death, Destroyer of Worlds”
after watching the first atomic explosion. (Sherwin, 1977) American Chief of
Staff, Admiral Leahy, is quoted as saying that in being the first nation to use
this bomb, America “adopted an ethical standard common to the barbarians of
the dark ages”. (Tim Wallace-Murphy, 1990)
The incredible evil of the bombing of the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and
Hiroshima murdering 187,757 innocents is multiplied when we consider that
U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt had foreknowledge of the Japanese attack
on Pearl Harbor. (Perloff, 1988) The U.S. wanted to maneuver the Japanese
into firing the first shot in order to justify war with Japan, Germany and Italy.
The U.S. purposed to stop the Japanese from interfering with our economic
interests in the Asian Pacific region and to become the dominant global power.
(Fraley, 1978)

The global leadership of the LHBOOTEK under its President and Commander
In Chief parallels the current 21 st century role of the American Empire among
the world’s nations. The POTUS reminded us again in a May 22, 2010
graduation speech at the West Point Military Academy that America leads the
international system.
"Yes, we are clear-eyed about the shortfalls of our international system. But
America has not succeeded by stepping outside the currents of international
cooperation," he said. "We have succeeded by steering those currents in the
direction of liberty and justice -- so nations thrive by meeting their
responsibilities, and face consequences when they don't." (Shear, 2010)
The function of the LHBOOTEK is to promote the warmongering of the
4THBOOTSK through startling, fraudulent, deceitful, unjust and immoral
Satanic activities deceiving those that choose to believe a lie because they
thought evil was good. (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12; Revelation 13:11-15)

The POTUS continues to issue global rally cries calling the nations to wage war
for peace sake using the 911 myth as his pretext for global war. Note the subtle
mind controlling threat in his message below that the U.S. homeland could be
attacked killing as many people as possible if the war isn’t continued.
“So let me be clear. Al Qaeda and its allies, the terrorists who planned and
supported the 9/11 attacks, are in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Multiple intelligence estimates have warned that al Qaeda is actively planning
attacks on the United States homeland from its safe haven in Pakistan. And if
the Afghan government falls to the Taliban or allows al Qaeda to go
unchallenged, that country will again be a base for terrorists who want to kill as
many of our people as they possibly can.”
“None of the steps that I've outlined will be easy. None should be taken by
America alone. The world cannot afford the price that will come due if
Afghanistan slides back into chaos or al Qaeda operates unchecked. We have a
shared responsibility to act; not because we seek to project power for its own
sake, but because our own peace and security depends on it. And what's at
stake at this time is not just our own security. It's the very idea that free nations
can come together on behalf of our common security. That was the founding
cause of NATO six decades ago, and that must be our common purpose today.
My administration is committed to strengthening international organizations and
collective action, and that will be my message next week in Europe. As America
does more, we will ask others to join us in doing their part. From our partners
and NATO allies, we will seek not simply troops, but rather clearly-defined
capabilities supporting the Afghan elections, training Afghan security forces, a
greater civilian commitment to the Afghan people.
For the United Nations, we seek greater progress for its mandate to coordinate
international action and assistance and to strengthen Afghan institutions. And
finally, together with the United Nations, we will forge a new contact group for
Afghanistan and Pakistan that brings together all who should have a stake in
the security of the region: our NATO allies and other partners, but also the
Central Asian states, the Gulf nations, and Iran, Russia, India and China. None
of these nations benefit from a base for al Qaeda terrorists and a region that
descends into chaos. All have a stake in the promise of lasting peace and
security and development.” (NEWS, 2009)

It’s the mouth of 4THBOOTSK, the false prophet, who performs the functions
traditionally attributed to Antichrist. Scripture teaches that Antichrist, the
false prophet, makes his appearance in stealth while disguising his true
intentions. He isn’t the same man he and his supporters claim he is. There’s a
sharp dichotomy between the order he promises and the destructive chaos his
policies create.
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns
like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” (Revelation 13:11)
Like a lamb, Antichrist humbly promises security, peace and prosperity. The
truth is, however, he’s lying like the devil. His deceitful policies will result in
unjust war and its murderous collateral damage, the murder of countless
numbers of Christian saints and other opponents, the stealing of personal
liberties and the destruction of national economies. (Daniel 8:23-25; Revelation
6:1-8; Isaiah 10; Revelation 13)
A Papal Antichrist?
Historic Protestant Reformation teaching claims the Papacy is Antichrist and
Roman Catholic priests fill the false prophet role. In the first century when
John penned 1 John 2:18 there were many antichrists. Obviously, many
antichrists still exist today.
I believe one of the biggest antichrists is the Pope; however, we shouldn’t
overlook the fact that many Protestant denominations and Protestant Churches
employ antichrists of lesser influence.

The Church of England with her Supreme Governor Queen Elizabeth II is a
highly influential European antichrist promoting the false unity of all faiths.
The Queen or British Sovereign has two roles. She’s Head of State and Head of
the Nation. She’s head of the Armed Forces and declares war and peace. She’s
also “The Defender of the Faith” supporting the various other faiths practiced
in the Commonwealth and United Kingdom.

Can you imagine Rome or the Pope as being one of whom the world will exclaim
in irreverent, unholy fear, “Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war
with him? (Revelation 13:4) As far as Roman priests being the false prophet are
concerned, I don’t foresee such effeminate weaklings enforcing the beast mark
of the beast global economic order as Revelation 13:15-18 prophecies the beast
out of the earth LHBOOTEK will do.

Regarding the coming of this mouth, Antichrist, 2 Thessalonians 2:9 states the
following:
Even him, whose coming (Strongs #3952: arrival, advent, presence) is after
(Strongs #2596: according to) the working of Satan with all power (Strongs
#1411: great ability, dominion, and authority) and signs (Strongs #4592: signs
signifying ties to a spiritual power; a prodigy, portent, i.e. an unusual occurrence
transcending the common course of nature portending remarkable events soon to
happen) and lying (Strongs #5579: falsehood) wonders (Strongs #5059: portent,
omen, prodigy. A portent is an omen of ill; a prodigy indicating the approach of
evil or calamity. A prodigy is a strange thing out of the ordinary process of nature
and so extraordinary that it excites wonder or astonishment. Omens or signs and
indicators can be drawn from prodigious events which point to a future event.)
2 Thessalonians 2:4 describes Antichrist the mouth as a haughty man. He’ll
hold a very high opinion of himself and display contempt for others. His
arrogance and dictatorial manner set him against what anyone else worships
or calls God. He will demonstrate himself as a supreme global dictator along
the lines of Nebuchadnezzar of ancient Babylon.
Great things and blasphemies
Revelation 13:5 foretells that the mouth will speak great things (μεγαλα3173 A-APN
) and blasphemies (βλασφημιας988 N-APF ).
Blasphemy is defined by Webster as “an indignity offered to God by words or
writing; reproachful, contemptuous or irreverent words uttered impiously
against Jehovah. Blasphemy is an injury offered to God, by denying that which

is due and belonging to him, or attributing to him that which is not agreeable
to his nature.” (Webster, 1828)
Blasphemy can also be injurious to man. The adjective blasphemous is used in
Acts 6:11-13 by Hellenist Jews to falsely accuse Stephen of speaking against
Moses, the temple and the Law of Moses because of his faith in the Lord Jesus
Christ. When used to describe communication against man, blasphemy means
to injure someone’s reputation by slandering or falsely accusing them.
Μεγαλα translated “great things” in Revelation 13:5 is also used in the
following places within the New Testament: Acts 5:11; Acts 26:22; 1
Corinthians 9:11; Revelation 18:1; Revelation 19:1; and Revelation 20:12. In
these verses, μεγαλα carries the meaning of a comparatively large size or
importance. In the case of the global leadership role of the mouth in promoting
war, “great things” means that the mouth is communicating a political agenda
of critical importance to securing and maintaining the support of global citizens
for the war agenda of 4THBOOTSK.
“false flag” blasphemies
Revelation 13:5 doesn’t limit the role of the LHBOOTEK to the religious realm.
It’s presumptuous to assume that its blasphemies are solely limited to verbal
attacks on God or his children. Since the mouth is promoting war, the
blasphemies will likely include the types of false flag attacks operative in
national governments. These attacks involve staging or provoking violent acts
against national interests followed by the demonization of innocent targets by
falsely accusing them of causing the violence. It’s a process of wounding the
reputation of targeted individuals and groups by evil, false, slanderous reports.
Targeted groups and individuals will include those that that resist integration
with the global rule set of 4THBOOTSK. Thomas Barnett calls the global war
on terror against those refusing to integrate with the global economy as a war
against “the man with no state”. National governments refusing to play by the
global economic rule set, groups or individuals for national sovereignty, antiwar
groups, New World Order resistance groups, U.S. Patriot groups, States
Rights and Constitutional freedom groups, Futurist Biblical Christians, nonintegrating
religious groups, anti-government secular and religious cults and
the like would all be potential targets of blasphemy by LHBOOTEK.

In essence, under the mouth will cry “thou shalt integrate”. If this message is
rejected; blasphemy and an unjust sentence will follow. This same
blasphemous process will be carried out on a global basis under the regime of
4THBOOTSK and LHBOOTEK. (Isaiah 29; Isaiah 59)
Blasphemies against disciples of Christ
Jesus taught that God is blasphemed when his people are mistreated. He
illustrated this mistreatment as ignoring the known physical, emotional and
spiritual needs of his children.
42For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me
no drink: 43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me
not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44Then shall they also answer
him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or
naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45Then shall he
answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one
of the least of these, ye did it not to me. (Matthew 25:42-45)
For the final 3 ½ years before the Lord Jesus Christ returns to destroy
4THBOOTSK, the mouth will blaspheme God by mistreating his people.
(Daniel 7:19-22; Revelation 13:5)
God’s people from all nations will have unique physical needs during this time
of great tribulation because of the global mandates of 4THBOOTSK. The saints
will be unable to integrate with its economic rule set. Poverty, hunger, thirst,
and homelessness will test the church as even precious commodities like gold
and silver won’t be a lasting hedge against the destructive economic policies of
the global beast kingdom. (James 5:1-8; Revelation 13:15-18)
Sober up church! Great tribulation, not heavenly rapture, will mark the end of
501-c3 church games! No more extra-biblical commands, false religious guilt
and psychological pulpit power plays!
Building programs? Wednesday and Sunday services at fashionable facilities?
Youth group acivities? Prayer breakfasts, dinner theatres, movie nights and
coffee houses? Revivals? Missions Conferences? Praise and Worship Concerts?
Forget them all!
Pastoral authority and the coveted “double honor” of the pastoral ministry will
be lost. Professional ministry and 501-c3 benefits will be history! Tithingimpossible!
Baptism by immersion will be a dream. The “Lone Ranger

Christianity” so condemned by 501-c3 church team leaders will have become
God’s norm. Mourning and tears rather than casual joking will characterize the
emotional state of the scattered and torn body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Conclusion
Think this is all craziness? In one sense I wish I could say it was. However,
knowing this stark reality, I warn the scoffers among us to awake to the
sulfurous stench of the new satanic global beast kingdom rising up out of the
sea!
There is a new world rising and it smells like hell! Meditate on the following
words and how they could play out some day in your life or the life of another
member of the body of Christ.
7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:
and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8And all
that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the
book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9If any man have
an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he
that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience
and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13:7-10)
The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars will choose the lower
road and worship the 4THBOOTSK thinking they’ll enjoy its ride. Along the
way, they’ll snitch on their neighbors and even betray their closest relatives
and friends.
Undoubtedly, relatives should care for one another. Jesus warns us, however,
that betrayal, not support, will characterize family relations in the difficult days
ahead. Our trust needs to be in the unchanging character of God these days
and not in transient nature of human beings and earthly riches. The faithful,
however, will be vindicated and redeemed when the Lord Jesus Christ returns
with vengeance upon the blasphemous betrayers.
1Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the
grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the
firstripe fruit. 2The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none
upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother
with a net. 3That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh,
and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his
mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

4The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge:
the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy
mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6For the son dishonoureth the father, the
daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in
law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house. 7Therefore I will look unto
the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. 8Rejoice
not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness,
the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9I will bear the indignation of the LORD,
because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute
judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his
righteousness. (Micah 7:1-9)
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be
hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and
shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (Matthew 24:9-10)
9But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the
synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings
for my sake, for a testimony against them. 10And the gospel must first be

published among all nations. 11But when they shall lead you, and deliver you
up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate:
but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that
speak, but the Holy Ghost. 12Now the brother shall betray the brother to death,
and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall
cause them to be put to death. 13And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s
sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Mark
13:9-13)
God will use this terrible time to strengthen and rebuild his weakened body.
Many will be purified and refined in the crucible of imprisonment and its
abuses. Eventually, however, many will be killed as the 4THBOOTSK
overcomes them in his war against them. (Daniel 12:8-13; Revelation 13:7-10;
Revelation 6:9-11; Revelation 7:9-17; Revelation 20:4; Revelation 13:15-18)
