Hazards identification : May contain potentially pathogenic microorganisms. The material has been tested<br />
and found negative for HIV Ab, Hep B surface Ag, and Hep C.<br />
Symptoms relating to use<br />
- Inhalation : May cause irritation to the respiratory tract and to other mucous membranes. Dry<br />
throat. Headache.<br />
- Skin contact : May produce skin irritation.<br />
- Eye contact : May cause eye irritation.<br />
- Ingestion : Ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.<br />

Composition : Contains a sample of human donor serum which may contain potentially<br />
pathogenic microrganisms. Also contains trace metals.<br />

4 FIRST AID MEASURES<br />
First aid measures<br />
- Inhalation : Remove victim to fresh air.<br />
- Skin contact : Flush with plenty of water.<br />
- Eye contact : In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek<br />
medical advice.<br />
- Ingestion : Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. Seek medical advice.<br />

5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES<br />
Specific hazards : When heated to decomposition, emits toxic fumes.<br />
Extinguishing media : Dry powder. Water. Carbon dioxide.<br />
Surrounding fires : Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.<br />
Protection against fire : Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory<br />
protection.<br />
Special procedures : Avoid (reject) fire-fighting water entering environment. Exercise caution when<br />
