The painting might have been part of Anton Hansen's exhibition at<br />
Dansk Kunsth<strong>and</strong>el, Copenhagen, 1920. Two <strong>paintings</strong> - titled "Snefog"<br />
(cat. no. 19) <strong>and</strong> "Snow" (cat. no. 21) were presented here. The<br />
painting has been seen by curator Hanne Abildgaard, The Worker's<br />
Museum in Copenhagen, who has written the authoritative book on<br />
Anton Hansen: "Anton Hansen - Mellemkrigstidens sorte satiriker",<br />
Copenhagen 2001. In The Worker's Museum Collection Hanne Abildgaard<br />
has found drawings from 1919 with a similar depiction of a<br />
storm <strong>and</strong> trees. All in all she finds the depiction of space <strong>and</strong> figures<br />
typical of Anton Hansen's art in this specific period.<br />
