The ultimate W7-series embodies JL Audio's commitment to pushing the envelope of speaker technology. It wouldn't 

be enough for this speaker to sound great or be loud, it had to do both - at the same time. Meeting this goal required 

JL to develop a deeper understanding of the inner behaviour of speakers, new and proprietary modelling systems and 

six new, patented technologies. Each W7 model has been meticulously engineered to reproduce sub-bass with extreme 

fidelity at any volume level. Once you begin to analyze the technology and the performance profile of a W7, you 

realize that these are much more than just "big SPL speakers".

Each individual W7 model is a completely unique design from surround to back-plate and shares no major parts with 

its siblings, because each motor and each suspension system is specifically designed and tuned for that model. Even 

the bolts and screws used to assemble the speaker have been purpose-designed and manufactured to our specifications.

Auf dem Weg zur Umsetzung der Ziele wurde JL klar, dass man ein tieferes Verständnis für die verborgenen Vorgänge 

in Lautsprechern entwickeln musste, umgesetzt mit neuen Berechnungsmodellen und sechs neuen, patentierten 

Technologien. Jedes W7 Modell wurde so akribisch genau konstruiert, um Tiefbass mit höchster Klangtreue bei jedem 

Pegel wiedergeben zu können. Wenn man die Technologie und das Leistungsspektrum der W7-Modelle analysiert, 

so wird man schnell feststellen, dass sie weitaus mehr sind als nur “große SPL Subwoofer“.

Jedes W7 Modell beansprucht für sich von der Sicke bis zur Polplatte ein völlig eigenständiges Design und teilt kein 

wesentliches Teil mit den Schwestermodellen, da jeder Antrieb speziell nur für diese eine Größe entwickelt wurde. 

Selbst die Schrauben und Bolzen wurden eigens für die Verwendung in den jeweiligen Lautsprechern gefertigt. Das 

Ergebnis dieser Feinarbeiten sind ultimative Subwoofer, die es schaffen, gleichermaßen mit Finesse oder brutaler Kraft

excellent performance. A brilliant well-thought-out connection terminal allows to connect the dual voice coil easily 

in different connection variants. Especially the compatibility in several tight enclosures makes the W6 woofers the 

allround champions in the JL Audio program.

The entrance into JL Audio´s extreme class begins with the W6v2-Series. The efficient subwoofers set new standards 

with their extraordinary performance especially in small enclosures. Like in the W7-Series the W-Cone diaphragm 

technology, the EFC-Framedesign and the JL Audio patented NeckVent cooling system are employed. The W6 

subwoofers are a perfect solution for sealed and ported enclosures, and also for bandpass applications.

When the space in modern vehicles is limited or the conservation of the existing loading space is important, it needs 

new concepts and solutions which convince with performance. The idea to built ultra shallow subwoofers with compact 

assembly dimensions is not really new. But the result was never comparable to bigger subwoofers. The design of the 

TW5 wipes away any doubts. The result is more than conclusive – with noble finesse JL Audio makes the shallow - 

mount - principle perfect. 

Top class compact subwoofers with multiple patented technologies. MADE IN USA. 

The compact subwoofers with ultra shallow mounting depth of only 65 mm finally stop the prejudice, that chassis of 

this type cannot generate enough bass and audio pressure. The height reduction of the basket is equalized with a 

new membrane hanger assembly and very huge voice coils – 5.5” (140 mm) at the 12” and 7.0” (178 mm) at the 13” 

version. Also the Xmax of +/- 9.7 mm is absolute respectable.

Wenn in modernen Fahrzeugen das Platzangebot eingeschränkt ist oder die Erhaltung des vorhandenen Laderaums 

eine wichtige Rolle spielt, braucht es neue Konzepte und Lösungen, die dennoch mit Performance überzeugen. Die 

Idee, ultra-flache Subwoofer mit kompakten Einbaumaßen zu bauen, ist nicht neu – doch das Ergebnis war bis dato 

niemals mit größeren Tieftönern vergleichbar. Das TW5-Design räumt diese Zweifel ohne Mühe beiseite. Das Resultat 

ist mehr als nur überzeugend – mit edler Raffinesse gelang es JL Audio, das Shallow-Mount-Prinzip zu revolutionieren 

und zu perfektionieren.

Die kompakten Tieftöner mit ultrageringer Einbautiefe von nur 65 mm räumen endgültig mit dem Vorurteil auf, dass

More than just once, JL Audio committed as a pioneer for new technologies. The next challenge – the evolution of 

digital full-range amplifiers. The advantages of that concept are obvious: Very small dimensions at concurrent high 

efficiency and power. But conventional digital circuits were not good enough for that high demands, so with an 

intensive research JL Audio developed a brand new technology, named Single-Cycle Control. 

High-end full-range digital reference amplifiers with patented technology. 

Equipped with an absolute revolutionary circuit principle the HD amplifiers go new ways with their exclusive patented 

digital technology, to eliminate negative side effects of complex full-range digital technology in cars. From the 

beginning, characteristics like HiFi sound quality, huge stability, less ambient noise and less-distorted output power 

at simultaneous high efficiency defined the marching direction of the conception.

In designing the new C2 Coaxial and Component Systems, JL Audio has drawn from its vast experience in woofer 

design as well as the tweeter technologies employed in the world-class C5 component systems. The resulting products 

deliver a compelling performance solution at a price within reach of any enthusiast seeking a great listening experience. 

The systems include flush and surface mount tweeter mounting fixtures and true 2-way outboard crossovers, each 

with three user-selectable tweeter attenuation levels. 

Upper class high-end speakers. 

Making a speaker that can play loud without sounding harsh is what separates the men from the boys. So, JL Audio 

focuses on creating low-distortion motor and suspension systems, as well as carefully engineered cones that deliver 

the right combination of stiffness, damping and off-axis response. It starts with ample mechanical clearance, optimized 

suspensions and balanced motor designs. This allows the use of longer voice coils that let the speakers move further 

for enhanced output and lower frequency extension.

The Evolution TR speakers are the cost-performance ratio optimized allrounders in JL Audio´s speaker program which 

are available in all conventional sizes. Already because of their high degree of efficiency, also as a full range speaker 

without amplifier and subwoofer, they cut out a fine figure. They are a strong sounding option for an advancement 

of existing factory-made sound systems. 

Upper class allround speakers with an excellent efficiency. 

The speakers of the TR-Series already stand out with the JL Audio typical good midbass. Even in these price-consciously 

constructed systems, the engineers use voice-coils with a long and linear excursion. So they are able to produce a high 

acoustic pressure (up to 91 dB/1W/1m) without reaching their borders of capacity. Because of its well balanced costperformance 

ratio, it is ideal for beginners, who also want to enjoy upper class sound. Like the component systems, 

the coax and triax models are equipped with a 12 mm silk-dome tweeter. With its compact in-line-crossover, the 2way-system 

TR650CSi is a very easy-to-install alternative.

The CleanSweep program embodies intelligent and perfect solutions for signal processing and integration of high 

class aftermarket components to upgrade factory-installed systems. If the factory-installed system, especially the 

control unit, cannot easily be exchanged by a better sounding type - for example because the navigation system is 

coupled with it - you do not have to disclaim a better sound. The JL Audio CleanSweep components allow an additional 

installation of amplifiers and other non-serial units to force-up the performance. 

Suitable to the high-class car audio components like subwoofers, amplifiers and speaker systems, JL Audio is also 

offering the corresponding accessories and cables for a professional installation. The cable- and connection-components, 

all made of high-class materials, are explicitly balanced on audiophile attributes - as normal for JL Audio products.

CL441dsp 

32-bit SHARC® DSP processor to automatically 

equalize each of the four channels with 30 

bands of equalization (that's 120 bands total), 

effectively correcting the response of almost 

any factory-equalized, full-range signal. These 

digital-domain corrections will range from 

subtle to dramatic, depending on the degree 

of equalization engineered into the factory 

audio system. To accomplish this complex feat, 

you simply load the supplied CleanSweep® 

calibration CD into the factory-installed CD 

player. CleanSweep® includes an intuitive rotary 

user interface (a knob with stops at both ends) 

to control the master system volume at the 

outputs of the processor unit for both the OEM 

(factory) and auxiliary sources. 


CL-RLC 

The CL-RLC is a true, active level control 

preamplifier which can be used for subwoofer 

level control or as an audiophile-grade, fullrange 

volume control. The CL-RLC's differentialbalanced 

inputs minimize the likelihood of 

noise, while its very healthy preamp design 

delivers up to 7.5 VRMS of unclipped output 

to your amplifier.

The CL-SES is a high-quality audio source switch 

that allows you to select from up to three input 

devices via automatic signal sensing or a 

manually operated switch. This gives you the
