Main objective, end result Main objectives:
Assessment of determinants useful for setting the
aims and trends for:
1. optimal socio-economic development, functionalspatial
and transport structures of BTMA
2. establishing BTMA more attractive and competitive
for investments to improving the position and role
of BTMA among polish metropolitan areas.
Particularly, two issues will be analysed:
1. socio-economical preconditions of development of
BTMA
2. transport system of BTMA

Expected results:
1. the product of the project will be the text including
information and analyzes concerning socioeconomical
preconditions of development and
transport system as well as large scale maps
(maps at a scale of 1:50 000) including outputs of
analyzes.
2. the project will cause better space management
and creating the development. The study will be
used as a part of diagnosis stage of “Plan of
development and spatial development of BTMA”.
